$5 Filipino Street Food Hunt in Manila (Salcedo Market)

I marked my return to the Philippines with a visit to my favourite food market in Manila - Salcedo Market in Jaime C. Velasquez Park, Makati.

I arrived with an appetite, and the vast array of friendly local vendors meant that I certainly wasn't going to leave hungry.

Following a stroll through the park I began by sampling some of the international fair on the way to discovering one of my favourite foods - a Pakistani Filipino man who served me the best beef seekh kebab and biryani I have had anywhere on my travels (halal).

Along with my free Pakistani food from the kind Filipino seller I also had a free lassi which was undoubtedly the best I've had since my time in Chennai.

As I continued through the market, I had my first try of the famous Taho drink, halo halo desert, and the best chicken inasal and BBQ pork skewers at Ineng's Special BBQ. And, I even met a few of my fellow Leeds fans!
