I love your advice, and I think this can definitely apply to anyone. I’ve been using a rather thick foundation- and someone recently guessed I was almost 5-10 years older, eek!
I’ve heard so many good things about Mac face and body, picking it up today!

I use blonde eyebrow pencil too, even though when I’ve gotten my make up done in my life, they always want to use medium brown.
With blonde, I get a softer look, and it’s easy to build if you want more.
I can’t do taupe though, it looks ghastly gray on my cool skin tone.

I recently read something i have never heard before, to wash your face after you shampoo your hair, rather than before. I didn't think it would make a difference, but it absolutely has! My skin looks so much better. ♡

Two things you mentioned I find especially true. Concealer - for me, less is more and some days my foundation is enough. Also, giving you eyelashes a break from mascara makes such a difference. A silly tip I have, but works - curl your lashes after drying off out of the shower - they are nice and soft and really hold the curl 🤗

Because of Wayne Goss I stopped putting my concealer under my whole eye,.but I was still drawing my maybelline on thanks for the tip!

Love these tips. I use most of them. Some great changes I made recently are eyeliner under the lash as opposed to above it is a game changer. Also, no liner on the lower lash line but instead use a darker eye shadow color. Really softens and looks more youthful. Blending foundation with tinted moisturizer/SPF is also great for lightening up the foundation.

Yes using about 50-70% of the amount of foundation you’d normally use is a great idea

Just discovered your channel & enjoyed your tips. I'm over 60 & my skin used to be very oily but is now really dry. Using a face oil on my skin before a lightweight foundation really helps keep my skin moist.

I used to line my upper lid close to the lash line, but at 66, it's better to skip that step. Instead I use dark brown on my upper water line along my lashes and get the benefit of liner without taking away any lid 'real estate' - I also use shimmer eyeshadow as a final step over my lid shadow and only in the center of the lid. And yes, blending makes a huge difference! Great video. Now I need a pillow too!

I'm 59 currently (I'll be 60 in 2024 - I think we are the same age) I've let my hair go gray (I use the purple Olaplex shampoo).
