Happy 50th bday
Ответитьi think the last big man of comparable magnitude was Shaq. ain't had nobody like either of those guys since.
ОтветитьDamn they were just FEEDING him. But where was the double or front?
Ответитьwhos gonna front patrick motherfucking ewing?? LOL even shaq couldnt stand in front of this monster he would get pushed out of the way, and ewing wasnt some retarded center from todays era that gets the ball and holds it for 4 seconds before deciding which move to do or dribbles like 4 or 5 times, patrick got the ball and automatically made a move to score, he wasnt about to wait for the double team to arrive....clearly this is all very apparent on this video
Ответитьhe was good but come one this guy could not push back shaq
Ответитьof course he could........patrick was 7-0 and pure muscle, but anyway i was talking about fronting, nobody could deny the entry pass to this guy, that was the point.
Ответитьone of the greatest big man to not win a championship. top 5 greatest center of all time in my books.
ОтветитьWhat are you, 19? He dominated Shaq until Shaq went to LA in '96 and put on 40 lbs.
Ответитьewing had better footwork and a better shot/touch than shaq..but shaq's combo of speed size and strength was 1 of a kind
ОтветитьEwing was my favourite player..but Shaq definitely held his own to say the least in Orlando
ОтветитьTop 5? Hakeem, Shaq, Wilt, Bill, Kareem, Moses Malone, David Robinson are all better centers.
ОтветитьShaq was 300 LBs and the refs let him push other centers under the basket. He's disqualified from all great center comparisons as far as I'm concerned. I'd say Ewing was the best center in the league from 1989-1992. But he did lose a step by mid-90's thanks to those knees taking their toll. Too bad, because while he was in his prime he really didn't have the players around him he needed to win championships.
ОтветитьEasily my top 10 Centers and my favorite B-Ball player....Ewing forever!!!
ОтветитьI was at this game when I was a kid. Larry was too much to Patrick!
Ответитьexcellent game
ОтветитьEwing never had the talent around him in the prime of his career. By the time the Knicks got Allan Houston and Chris Childs, his knees were shot and he had shattered his wrist. It sucks that he never won a championship.
ОтветитьTHE most unexciting 50 pts I've ever seen.
ОтветитьEwing scored 51 on all-star center Robert Parish then followed this up with a 41 point performance in the next game.
ОтветитьBig Pat before the chronic knees
ОтветитьThis is very similar to how Hakeem Olajuwon plays!
Ответить95% of his makes were “swishes”!!! Such an unbelievable touch for a big man then! Best mid range shooting center in my opinion
