It’s not weird to divorce a man, and still stay cordial, or even very friendly, with their family members whom you had a long (hopefully kind) relationship with them. My mom and dad were married for 25 years and got divorced when I was a teenager. To this day, my mom is still extremely close with my dad’s family, and regularly visits with them and even sees a few of my aunts and uncle for holidays.
