CPF Housing Grant Guide 2019 - 4 Grants for Buying a HDB Flat

Buying your first HDB can be a bittersweet occasion, and along with it, you will probably be taking your biggest loan ever.

There are 4 housing grants available from HDB, and in this video, we explain what they are and how to get them.

There's the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant, which is to help subsidise the cost of your resale flat and can give you up to a maximum of $50,000 in grants.

The Additional CPF Housing Grant, which is for lower income families. And depending on your income, you can get up to a maximum of $40,000 in grants.

Third, we have the Special CPF Housing Grant, which are only for 4-room flats and below in non mature estates.

Lastly, we have the Proximity Housing Grant. If you buy a 4-room resale flat within the 4km radius of your parent's house, you can get $75,000 in grants.
