Green Man's story has a sort of happyending, with people being empathic and showed understanding, not isolating him, but socializing with him.

My favorite true urban legend has to be the Red Ghost, basically, there was a legend of a red beast with a skeleton riding atop its back murdering locals in airizona, turns out, it was just a feral camel with a corpse strapped to its back, pressumably, from an earlier government effort that involved bringing camels to war. I like this one cause even with the de-fantasy-fication, there’s still a lingering question of what prompted this animal to go around killing innocent people and how was there a rotting corpse still strapped to it nearly 2 years after the operation was scrapped?

You forgot about one. It’s an urban legend called “Humans Can Lick Too”, and it was based off of a real incident that happened to a Korean girl. The story goes that a little girl was in her bed at night and her parents weren’t home. She heard noise from downstairs so she put her hand out by the under of the bed and let her dog lick her hand to calm her down. When she woke up she found her dog killed and a note saying “Humans can lick too”, which implies that there was a home intruder who snuck under her bed and was licking her hand. I’m a Fairfax native, and we all know about the Bunny Man Bridge. I actually worked at the transformed prison-turned-art gallery that he was supposed to be transferred to. There’s a brewery there called Bunny Man Brewery. The part of the story where a man comes out in a bunny costume is total myth, though.
