❤licorice necco!
ОтветитьI hated Necco wafers. Those and Fizzies.
ОтветитьThey don’t make chocolate now like they did in the 70s. Back, then it was delicious.
ОтветитьGreat video! I love Necco's!! I Still have to have a pack of chocolate Necco's for the movies! Yum 😋
ОтветитьChocolite is sold in the UK under the name Aero.
ОтветитьI loved razzles❤
ОтветитьIt’s pronounced, at least where I grew up, as “Lick-em-ade,” not “Like-em-ade.”
How was it pronounced where you grew up?
I LOVE Necco wafers!
I live in New England and I still can find them in a few shops.
When I do, I always buy two rolls.
I love them!
Anyone else?
I love this!!
ОтветитьI remember Zero bars, Abba Zabbas which are still around but the last one I had was not made with chewy taffy, was not good. Chick-O-Stick. Big Hunks. Charleston Chews.
ОтветитьBought a Chunky for nostalgia sake. It was divided into 4 sections :(
ОтветитьI don’t remember how that rumor got started about Mikey dying from those Pop Rocks candies but we did all believe it!!!😂😂
ОтветитьDoes anyone else remember Troglodytes? A piece of chocolate with a paper toy.
ОтветитьAnother person commented some candies are stocked at Dollar Tree but the Vermont Country Store is often cited as a source for old school confections, but I can't vouch for their flavor resembling what people remember from childhood
ОтветитьI know these are still around but how about mallow cups and buns?
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьMarathon bars were the BEST candy bar ever❤
ОтветитьI loved the choco’lite, chunky, whatchamacallit they still have those today but it’s a different recipe
ОтветитьI remember them
ОтветитьI can taste each and every one of these! ❤️🐈🐆🐈⬛❤️
ОтветитьExcellent video!
ОтветитьI remember most of these. I wonder if some were regional only? Fun memories. Sugar Daddy and Smarties and Lik A Stik were my faves.
Ответить5th Avenue, Zero, Sweet Tarts, B B Bats & Fireballs. Oh, and also the orange wax harmonica. B B Bats, Fireballs and Bit O Honey were a penny each!
ОтветитьSummit bar
ОтветитьPowerhouse candy bars! Nothing as good as since. Sure wish they would come back!
ОтветитьFlying Saucers - two bowl shaped wafers glued together with sugar I guess, made to resemble a flying saucer and with tiny hard candy beads inside.
ОтветитьLOL, I remember chewing on those wax lips, and the goofy syrup wax bottles! OMG=Razzles I remember! Totally forgot about that choco'lite bar, I loved it. Ah yes taking my babysitting money or cashing in pop bottles to get candy and 5 cent pack of sunflower seeds! The good ole days for sure.
ОтветитьI loved Zots
ОтветитьRemember Big Buddy?
ОтветитьI remember going to the candy store (had one about 5 houses down the street) with a quarter (the man who owned got tired of counting...most times) and coming home with a small bag of delicious goodies!!! The good old days!!! Miss them😢😢😢 ❤❤❤😊😊😊
ОтветитьWOW!!!! So many memories....❤❤❤😊😊😊
ОтветитьThe greatest long lasting candy trifecta ever: Sugar Daddy, Sugar Babies and Black Cow.
ОтветитьSome of these are still widely available.
ОтветитьNeccos where invented in 1847 and I love them!
ОтветитьDoes anyone remember the name of a 60s/70s milk flavoring powder product that came in a tin shaped and illustrated like a circus tent? The single-serving paper packets came in many flavors, like choco-mint, strawberry banana, maple walnut, pineapple coconut, etc.
ОтветитьThere were a number of candies mentioned that I used to enjoy but had forgotten all about. However, one that wasn't mentioned was Marathon bars. These were long chocolate bars filled with caramel. They were shaped a bit like tree bark with holes in them.
ОтветитьOh the chunky bar was awesome
ОтветитьLoved this video, hated half of the yucky entries. Maybe a part 2 featuring the best candy bar ever - Marathon Bars?
ОтветитьNever had Choco-Lite - but it looks like the Canadian Aero bar now.
ОтветитьI remember Choc-0-lite! The candy was good, but the commercial was even better!
ОтветитьI used to love candy necklaces. They were like Sweet Tarts beads, strung on an elastic string that you could wear on your neck. I tried getting some recently for Halloween, but they were too expensive 😢
ОтветитьRazzles was my favorite! I'd still eat it if it was available.
ОтветитьI’ll take the old candy back!! There were no additives back then!!
ОтветитьI remember every single one of these! Brings me back to my childhood for sure! I also remember candy bracelets and the everlasting gobstopper! not sure if those are still around..
ОтветитьLoved bottle caps and the gum that goes squirt!
ОтветитьMinnesota's largest candy store, located in Jordan, Minnesota still has many of those old candies.: candy cigarettes, zots, pop rocks, etc.
ОтветитьPucker Pellets and Sour Bites were among my very favorites. I sure wish someone would bring them back!
ОтветитьI found some Zots a couple years ago. I loved those Choco-lite bars, found a Brit candy bar called Aero that's exactly the same as Choco-lite. Found it at Kroger. I miss Ice Cubes too, but you can find them online.
ОтветитьMy favorite was the Marathon bar.
