You do a pretty good job of telling folks how good this is but I don't think they realize just how magnificent a model this thing is, by far,...like hands down, the most versatile, rugged, fun to fly, well engineered, fuss-free, impresseive, head-turning bird in my hangar - I have the original, I like all my airplanes to have a nosewheel much to the chagrin of my fellow aviators but this is the first time the taildragger argument makes sense to me.
ОтветитьThis is really a nice flyer. The issue with the nose gear with the original version was a downer. Good to see they fixed it with the T version!

Is it normal that this plane has a propeller brake like a glider does when you cut the throttle? Isn't the propeller supposed to continue windmilling when you cut the throttle?...

ОтветитьNothing new here, just like the re-issued Carbon Z Cub and the T-26 Trojan. Horizon has got to start developing NEW MOLDS for some Carbon Z Warbirds and stop resiiuing the same old airplanes over and over again with the slight mechanical changes !!! I know many folks, including myself who already coverted the first Carbon Z 150 Cessna into a tail drager ! I was really hoping the E-Flite FW-190, THE ONE WITH THE HORRIFIC PAINT JOB, was goining to be a Carbon Z offering. I hope the Old Mold Honeymoon will be over soon !

ОтветитьFinally got mine and it is Awesome.Using 5k and 6k packs. Kinda like a Timber on steroids.slow and low is fantastic. One wheel touch and goes and it slips pretty good also.Thanks for turning me onto this beauty.

ОтветитьOh just FYI I’ve had the nose gear version for years now !! One of the best airplanes I own. I also got the floats and I’ve flown it at joe Nall on the lake many times also
