Professor Erick Raposo demonstrates a basic and an effective sweep from the half guard position. Our Mission at American Martial Art Academy is to Build Better Humans Before Great Champions. Within our program, we teach everyone the same Jiu-Jitsu whether you are a competitor or not. If you are looking to challenge yourself in competition, our team of instructors and coaches will ensure that you are prepared and ready to win. Our Adult Competition Team primarily competes in IBJJF Tournaments and our Kids Competition Team competes in AGF, FUJI BJJ, and BAMA Grappling Tournaments throughout the year.
