Jordan Peterson starts his own church

Dr. Peterson tells a story about how he founded and became an ordained metropolitan of "The Church of the Spirit of St. Joachim of Flora." The church has only one rule — that you can't follow stupid rules.

Peterson also makes a fascinating allusion to an impending "Epoch of the Holy Spirit." This medieval prognostication derived from the Trinity seems to be playing itself out. As the "Epoch of the Son" draws to a close with the death of Christianity on the cross of empiricism and rationalism, we may yet bring about a resurrection of Logos in some form.

Consider the fact that we're getting ever closer to being able to create transcendent consciousness as such. Would an artificial intelligence be "Godly," so to speak, and seek freely the highest ideals of humanity? Or would it lead us down a path of evil to an unprecedented hell on earth?
