ОтветитьHi, does anybody know, if there is a info in Marty's videos, at what minute strumming pattern is explained? Thank you
ОтветитьWrong key or something.
ОтветитьI’m related to Janis Joplin believe it or not
ОтветитьI love Marty! He has been teaching me for almost 10 years for free. Thank you for giving me this amazing hobby and creative outlet. It’s been a life saver during surgery recoveries and Crohn’s recoveries. You are the best Marty.
ОтветитьI’m doing something wrong, my hand doesn’t like that G.
ОтветитьThat guitar sounds terrible plugged in.
ОтветитьMarty, since we found you, we have learned SO much thank you, great teaching method.
please help, "me and Bobby Mcgee" at the start, when you play to set the tone, you do a little walk-up to the C, and then, just 2 bars of a "boogie" before returning to the G, could you please, please show us these, they are not included in your "tricks and embellishments" clip, Sunnyvenice, in the UK
that fresh guitar string sound is wonderful
ОтветитьMarty ... l love that you jam a bit, and then get right to it!
ОтветитьYour greys in the beard are scarin' the hell out of me ! Still got a few reviews to do....
ОтветитьGreat teacher
ОтветитьTHANK YOU MARTYYYYYY
ОтветитьI see you have you own show on axs?!! Congrats Marty!! Well deserved brother!!!
ОтветитьHi again Marty. I am mostly into Americana Folk rock, but here in the UK there has been a band that basically broke the barriers for this type of music. They are Mumford and sons. There has been a groundswell of their fans who are now listening to early Joni Mitchell & Bob Dylan. They nearly always, latterly, ended their gigs with song called Delta. I struggle with accuracy in the beginning part. I have been a fingerstyle guitarist for most of my life, but this track really needs to be flat picked. I can easily do the middle and end parts, but really struggle with what Marcus Mumford is doing at the start. My flat picking is not the best, and trying to fingerpick it doesn't sound right. When attempting to flat pick I have to use a thumb pick as I simply drop the pick mid song. I know this is the third song I have requested within days, but it is a great song. A lot of your subscribers may well have not heard of it, but it was a huge hit here in the UK. When you have time, maybe take a look. Even if your subscribers hear it only once, I'm sure they will think it worthy of your time. I will now leave you alone for a month or so, to give you time to do the great work that you already do. Andy, Woking, Surrey, UK.
ОтветитьHey now Marty now! Hey now Bobby McGee, yeah yeah. 😊💕
ОтветитьAwesome Marty
Ответить"Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose."
ОтветитьCool ! Thanks for this lesson, I love Janis Joplin.
ОтветитьAwesome lesson Marty, great video tutorial. Thanks for that man. Could you please do a guitar lesson + tutorial on “Scuttle Buttin’” by Stevie Ray Vaughan (S.R.V.)? Classic blues song and riff, super iconic. Thanks brother.👍
ОтветитьTy Marty at FIRTS I didn’t know it bust I realized it in half the vid lol and Ty Day 2 of asking to play Can You Feel My Heart by Bring me the Horizon
ОтветитьHey, Congratulations on your AXS TV Program! Certainly well deserving……
ОтветитьI have a guitar channel too think you could give me some tips? Sorry about vid quality in mine I’m saving for a camera
ОтветитьLove Willie's cover of this, the guitar goes hard in it. Grateful Dead do a great cover too.
ОтветитьAnother great acoustic classic song. Thanks Marty for uploading this 60's classic treasure. A really nice song to play and sing that is not complicated and difficult. That sounds great!!! 🎸🎼🎵🎶
ОтветитьThe best part of the Janis Joplin version is the piano solo when the song takes off!
ОтветитьIt's a Kris Kristofferson song. JJ only covered it.
ОтветитьHey Marty, thank you for the Me and Bobby McGee guitar lesson. Appreciated!!!
ОтветитьSorry, Marty. But the over amplification of that acoustic guitar sounds like garbage.
Ответитьcould you teach us needle and spoon
ОтветитьRIP Janis 🤘🤟✌️🙏🪻
ОтветитьThis reminds me of Van Morrison's Ballerina.
By the way, please do more Van Morrison, from Moondance and Astral Weeks. Thanks Marty!
It’s been a while I missed you 🤗🩵
Ответить❤ you’ve taught me so much over the years .. but now I stumbled on a drum set and need to find a “Marty of drums”
ОтветитьHey Marty: Saw you on TV last night, AXS channel. Wonderful surprise. You caught me with my mandolin at the time, but I'll be ready next week with Strat and amp warmed up and ready to go. Love your channel man! Congratulations on breaking into the big time.
Ответить" Freedom's just another word for nothing left to loose"
ОтветитьHey Marty great lesson! It would be fantastic if you could make a video of Michael Jackson Black Or White. Love
ОтветитьKris Kristofferson, the original Outlaw. I had the pleasure of seeing KK in concert a few years ago, an exhilarating evening of amazing music. Great song, great lesson. Thanks for sharing, Marty
ОтветитьAll the greatest died in their 20s. I wonder what Janis would be singing now?
ОтветитьG to C is my trouble spot because I chord G differently
ОтветитьWaiting for this for a long time, thanks Marty
