As some one who is actually really good at filming and editting weddings, here are my tips:

1. Just take the risk. Every time. Its always worth it.

2. If you have a dope idea for a shot, instruct the couple and shoot it. It does not matter if a few shots are 'scripted'

3. Make sure they adapt (at least) 1.5 hour for the photoshoot. During this photoshoot get as creative as you want with filming.

4. Make sure you have clean audio of the vows. Invest in 2 DJI microphones and clip them on the dress and the suit of the couple. Use the best quotes of both couples troughout the video

5. STOP SHOOTING EVERYTHING IN SLOW MOTION. Trust me, i know it is a safe option, but you need to get out of the comfort zone and really choose your slow motion moments so they are more impactful.
