This is a video recording of an interview conducted with the doyen of orchestral music in Singapore, 92-year-old Mr Paul Abisheganaden, recipient of the Cultural Medallion Award for Music in 1986. In the video, Abisheganaden gives an anecdotal account of his musical career and how he started his conducting activities. Recorded also are his thoughts on the future for music in Singapore, and his comments regarding his book "Notes across the years : anecdotes from a musical life".
