This is a great video!!! Im no where close to knitting a sweater, I've only been knitting since January of this year, but I enjoyed watching this and I've saved it for when I am ready.
ОтветитьIt's not easy for me 🥲🥲
ОтветитьLove the way you show your mistake in a cute way. Make another project with this type of knitting
ОтветитьAnother question for anyone about stitching arms to torso—are they only ATTACHED at the 6 stitch spots on sleeve and torso? That’s what it looks like. So there are still HOLES in the armpits! How does one close up the holes in the armpits? I looked for videos on this channel for that but couldn’t find any assistance. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! Newbie knitter here!
ОтветитьCan someone please explain to me—is RJ knitting each loop from the 2 separate safety pins together in 1 stitch (6x)? I don’t understand that part. Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks for this super easy guide. A reason I don't do a whole lot of knitting is that I hate strict rules and counting, I prefer to just free-hand anything I do, and this has literally been the sort of tutorial and workflow I have been looking for. The mistake you made is also useful as it helps us to avoid doing the same thing. :P Thx!
ОтветитьI've never knit a sweater this way before thank you for teaching me this technique and also I love how you left your mistake in the video. It no only shows us a mistake that we should avoid. It makes us see that everyone makes knitting mistakes here and there and it isn't the end of the world.
Ответить“A kid would be lucky to have a sweater at all.” 😂 That’s a quotable quote, especially when I mess up a kid’s sweater!
ОтветитьPlease give us a video about crochet tutorial 🎉
ОтветитьThis looks so complicated compared to flat knitting then sewing it up once finished, I can't see the advantage of doing it this way.
ОтветитьVery helpful. I agree the music can be annoying. Thanks.
ОтветитьVery good tutorial but my brain is fried
ОтветитьThis video helped me sooo much!! thank you!
ОтветитьBy chance have a pattern I can follow for a men’s sweater or cardigan?
ОтветитьThank you for your sweater video. I’m actually glad you made the decrease mistake because for the first time I understand the workings of the decreases! The leaning of the decreases, and why they are necessary! Enjoyed your video! 😊
ОтветитьI just finished my first ever sweater! It came out exactly how i envisioned it. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat size sweater does this make?
Ответитьso glad you left the mistake in! It really helps visualise it, and makes me realise that even excellent knitters can make mistakes...
ОтветитьHmm guys is it possible to do that without circular needles ??
ОтветитьI did the back part and after that what I should
ОтветитьHlo
Ответитьim really confused am i missing a video? as it says how to knit a sweater but most of it is already knit?
ОтветитьWhat size is this sweater? So beautiful 😍
ОтветитьI didn't understand sheet...
ОтветитьYou're lucky to even get a sweater kid - there are children in Africa without any sweaters at all. 🤣 But seriously, you have such a soothing way of teaching. I finally see how a sweater can be made! It seems possible someday and I can use this video to learn the skills I need. Thanks!💜
ОтветитьHow many stitches do I need. To mkee a size X-Large sweat her with a circle needle
ОтветитьDo you do a video on a basket weave. I want to use 120 stitches, even basket weave ?
ОтветитьCan I do rolled neck and bottom?
ОтветитьSo this is the basics of putting the knitted pieces together rather than basics of knitting lol. Also extremely difficult
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI'd like to have the pattern, so I can review the marker count.
ОтветитьI’m so thankful for you 🥹🫶🏼
Ответитьtfw a man is teaching women how to knit a sweater...
Ответитьmy biggest goal in knitting is to be able to make a sweater. i just started today - thank u for this tutorial! i am going to learn everything i need <3
ОтветитьLove this color, and love that you're so genuine and honest. Now I'm not so sensitive about my mistakes. I consider myself a beginner, and haven't made anything yet without mistakes. One thing it's doing for me is helping my learn how to fix them. Another thing is that I'm learning to live with some of my mistakes. I've made some hats, some wash cloths and scarves, so nothing crucial. lol. Now I'd like to make a sweater, and some socks, so I'm looking for some help. I'll take a look for something simpler. I'm probably not ready for this one. Helps that you show us that we all can make mistakes. Thanks for all you do.
ОтветитьYou are the Julia child of knitting in all the most wonderful ways. Thank you for making such genuine and clearly explained videos!
ОтветитьI'd rather cease to exist than knit in the round
ОтветитьHi RJ i like the way u explain things and thank u for sharing yr videos with us keep it up can u do 1 video for gants reglan sweater with bulky yarn please coz I have no idea how many sts to cast on pl help me
ОтветитьAm going to try with this method doing my own sweater will it okay to do 80 stitches for both back n front on circular needles using chunky wool
Ответитьme, casually trying to figure out how to do this with one pair of circular needles, very little knitting experience and no pattern:
ОтветитьVery well done, as a dyslexic person I can understand. LOved it
Ответитьgreat video (;
ОтветитьI'm doing a mixed media sweater! Main body knitted, while ribbing and the sleeves are crosheted! I hope this can help me with the main body.
ОтветитьBy the way, "grafting" is a specific technique in knitting, and when you attach the sleeves you are not using that technique, you are not grafting the sleeves on. If you were to cut off the bottom of your sweater, say because it had become damaged, and you had knitted a new bottom, the way you would attach the new bottom of your sweater to the body would be grafting.
ОтветитьTo much bla bla bla
ОтветитьWhen I first tried knitting a jumper as a kid, I did it in 2 sides which I presume you sewed together afterwards... I'd never heard of circular knitting needles then! And also, don't most jumpers you buy from shops have them in 2 halves sewn together??
ОтветитьWhat daunts me most about knitting is forgetting what you counted... Nightmare!
