"Illegal tiny house heat"?-vintage Kerosene Heater- Safe? (DO VENTILATE!)

AND IMPORTANT- in many areas Kerosene heaters have been outlawed because of their potentially dangerous/deadly effects indoors when these units are used in areas without adequate ventilation, or used improperly. Kerosene space heaters are now banned/no longer sold in many states now, and in those states it has become tougher and tougher to find fuel (K-1 Kerosene) for them. For that reason alone, those that own them from the days of old no longer use them- also because they often "stink" and "smoke" if not set/used properly (or in an area with ventilation). Derek "Deek" Diedricksen shows us one that he uses NOT for full time heat, but for occasional builds (especially outdoors during the winter) and when building tiny houses or tree houses in non-heated/unsealed areas. These kerosene heaters are EASY to use, quite portable, and they are kinda cool looking in a retro "robot" sense. This particular wick-based model is made by Sanyo and has been in use since 1984 and is still going strong. Yes, there are many up and downs to using this method of heat- but some DO use it for full time heat- just be careful. What are your thoughts?
