This early on choice it wasn’t cool, you didn’t have time to explore the areas and level up the factions to get upgrades and gears, they should of done this choice a bit further on the game. And also they should of given you warning before you start the griffin quest to tell you you will be locked out of any side quest that is left

I was a shadow dragon so I sided with Neve. Lucanis was PISSED but he seemed to understand since I was from that same area…. The aftermath though 🙃😢🫥😶

well they only lose their healing skill but otherwise no real change (lucanis keeps his adrenaline rush and neve still can use slow time)

Man, I was not ready for this multi choice... I'm currently on my 1st playthrough and it's an amazing game... This game has forced me to do another playthrough once I'm done to get the other choice side of the story

I was a crow and helped Neve. A lot of people called me a traitor, but the story made it sound like the decision was between losing a city or losing an empire. The worst part was that I wasn't given an option to defend my decision to protect the empire until about 95% of the way into the game.

I was a crow so I chose treviso.
But it makes no difference i did one story mission with Neve after she returned and suddenly we were almost kissing.
My bond with her wasn't at as high a level as with the others & yet it's still the closest i came to romancing anyone.🤷‍♂️

I choose neve because she is sexy❤😂

I literally just did this I thought it was better to protect treviso since there is no guard there

Lucanis is a better side character, Neve makes the most sense overall

As a grey warden i chose treviso because its the duty of the wardens to stop the blight.

There’s a reason you can play multiple play throughs with different character builds and make different choices. Just play it how you want and have fun.

I've done both. I think the game is a little more interesting if you choose Minrathous. But morally it makes more sense to protect Treviso. That city gets it pretty bad.

What seemed funny to me is that we had plenty of people to give equal support to both sides. Given how there is only three of us fighting that dragon at that time.

Hardest decision i had to make. Im playing a crow spellblade, but was romancing Neve. Sorry Lucanis.

I choose lucanis because Minrathous has an army already to protect its city. I figured it would be fine until we got there.

I get that a lot of people are saying to save Treviso because lore wise it makes sense, but saving treviso is also better for the gameplay because the story that surrounds Minrathous after the attack is so much better than what happens if you save it. Honestly there just really isn’t much going on in treviso. Like 4-5 missions take you back to the drowned area as the end of the mission. And the only real difference with saving it is that there is a small side quest you can do where there is a Romeo and Juliet situation with one of the crows and the venatori. But even that was short. And Jacobus doesn’t get turned into a blighted monster.

My mistake was romancing Harding and choosing Davrin to defend me in the final mission. I am still weeping. IYKYK

Ya, on my warrior, I saved the crows, and on my archer, I went with the shadow dragons because I'm playing as a shadow dragon

Since I was a crow I had to help my home town , on my other character I chose to help never and the aftermath of the other city was ridiculous.

Dragon age the what? There was a new dragon age game?

First playthrough I was a shadow dragon, yet I still chose treviso cause it made the most sense. Lucanis really made the better argument. Second playthrough now and chose Minrathous, and as of now I don’t see a huge difference with the minrathous quests yet there’s a HUGE impact for Treviso. Also find it strange how much harder Lucanis is towards Rook compared to Neve, yet you wouldn’t think that from the way the fanbase reacted.

Just avoid this game altogether. This game is for "they/them"...

The saddest thing is that in this game it makes no difference who to choose. Despite the texts that Lukanis/Nev in you do not trust, they continue to talk as if nothing happened. The difference is that only he makes the choice on his own. Although it is still a controversial thing, lol. Especially with Lukanis, who as the head of the organization of killers asks what to do with his brother🤔
Sure, it sounds awful to lose one of these cities in text, but in reality, nothing really happens. Except that there are corpses and filth everywhere. What the game lacks is the hardcore to show the bad sides.
