I love it!! Thank you for the work you did in Kenya brother and also interacting with local kids 💯
ОтветитьOf course it was Germany...😒
ОтветитьNo Arrests there a bs title
ОтветитьDrone flying in the rain is satisfying
ОтветитьNice video I learned alot
ОтветитьToo bad you can't use goggles and the rc stick controller together 😢
ОтветитьHow did you get caught? Were you too close to your drone so they knew you were the pilot?
ОтветитьI know they watch the skies. But how the heck they see your small lil drone
ОтветитьI noticed you inverting the drone to shut off the motors and that made wonder if you knew about, or have ever tried, hand landing. Such a cool feature and it really amazes onlookers. I found it to be a lot easier than grabbing the drone in a hover.
Ответитьits not a mavic mini 3 Pro. Its simply a Mini 3 Pro and yes one of the most capable consumer drones on the market.
ОтветитьYou do need to register it in Europe now and get a license. It can be done online, and is rather straightforward. You then get a code that needs to be on the drone (fixed, burn resistance etc, usually a <1g metal plate)
Ответитьthanks for the tips...happy flying...
ОтветитьLove all your vids and your lifestyle. I live very near to a important aspect of your life I just suspected and then I saw a TED talk by your wife and wow! You both are really good people. I live in Bern or outside of Bern and I always say hello to people in white shirts as they resucued me from the top of mountain pass in the Rockies during a blizzard. I have lived in Jackson, Colorado, Cayman (made dinner for two of those folks who came knocking knowing thier dietary restrictions I made everything I'm that way. I have a Swiss Drone licence as I have a DJI Mavic Pro.2 so a 900g to 4kg A2/A3 license as anything above 900g is a considered not a toy but an unmanned aircraft. Cool house, garden, car, the cement version of you was so funny. But, I could imagine so many things they could make with that printer. A modular home, all the parts made to fit perfectly together and made with high strength cement (fibers and such inside not just rebar). It could even be not so heavy if made using a correct mix of the right fibers, the Roman self-healing chunks of stuff, and very thin rebar perhaps even carbon fiber rebar with fibers mixed in the concrete. I would love to design and try and live in it. It could be made to be in conjunction with off grid tech, panels,.panels on the glass, a wind turbine, boxes under the solar panels to preheat water and keep the panels cool, concrete really seems to insulate. If you added insulation type fibers like the fiberglsss you showed being made.....a strong, thin, little, easy to build and design, lego like or.puzzles pieces house. Add, I beams here and there to make it absolutely everything proof and it would be pretty neat as you could get very creative with the shapes and architecture. All " Lloyd Webber" style. Or basically, not a box or rectangle. I'm too far away to even think about it as I live in the most experience place in the world to live. I would put it up in the Ober Bernese alps if I could as I think the land would be less ridiculous but the building costs here are outside of most of the citizens reach - ever - most people rent forever. I am about to start creating some content. I have all the necessary camera and editing experience. I just need to get over my own lens fright. But I have a lot of things I would like to make videos on as I have lived everywhere almost - I have worked at least in more countries then I haven't. One thing I just asked my neighbor who is a politician here is about a "makerspace" as most people don't have the space or income for a shop, much less CNC, 3d printers, and the Canton is the largest property owners due to tax defaults over er the years and years. So, a non-profit organization with all the tools and mentoring with a low price point electronics, microcontrollers, fabric, etc...would be a healthly and positive thing for them to do. Rather then some of the other things bored kids do. Can't blame them.... everything costs so much to do here.
We will see.....be careful with abroad. Remember their laws apply :-) .
Best,
J, J.D.
My Dad has the same Drone not The Mavic the Mini 3 Pro. I Have the Mini 2
ОтветитьBig companies such as Amazon are lobbying to kill the drone hobby for their drone delivery services. Authorities mindlessly follow the law written by bribed dilletantes who made this safe hobby look evil.
Ответитьyeah about the germany laws... that does not work with small drones anymore as well. you simply need a license
ОтветитьRenseignez vous sur les lois drones de l'E.A.S.A avant de faire des erreurs , et
ce que vous faites en Afrique n'est pas applicable a l'Europe .
no interesing
ОтветитьOMG friend jajaja
ОтветитьWith DJI you instruct/direct the drone where to go. Not exactly flying them. Fly a race/freestyle drone and you will see the difference.
ОтветитьClick bait
ОтветитьYep, I predicted this the first ten seconds. You’ve been flying that long and didn’t know that a Mavic needed to be registered? Or even think about the 250g rule?
ОтветитьThis still needs to be registered in Europe now.
ОтветитьAnd so started the downfall of the RC hobby
ОтветитьI carry both drones in my truck, and prefer the Mavic 3 for rural, low light, high wind, or zoom photography, but added the Mini 3 Pro for flying in towns, low wind, or around people due to its stealthy small size and sound.
It is amazing what stress can do to memory, at least for me at advancing age, however I do use the RTH button enough where it is almost automatic...
I have flown several drones in light rain and snow with no issues but not much below freezing.
How does your drone even get taken?
ОтветитьSo how did those scum bags officers know the drone was not registered. By illegally detaining you and demanding shit. I swear cops are full of shit they were bored so they wanted to arrest ppl god complex behavior. Unless he somehow had scan gun and scanned it and saw it wasnt registered theres no way he would have known. Lets say it was registered then he just illegailly detained you. Sue that B
ОтветитьClickbait
ОтветитьI do not understand why they was acting like this to begin with though. The issue with the registration is a problem yea but they didn’t know that until you was already detained. What was they cause of them detaining you? Why was they acting like that towards the drone in the first place was it a no fly zone?
ОтветитьBut why was you arrested or detained in the first place it’s not illegal to fly a drone.
ОтветитьI noticed how many uneducated people here in the comments give advise on what they should/nt do when it comes to flying a drone, Just took my part 107 and passed today, first try, FAA cares about the intention of the flight and if it is recurrent, no weonder they are becoming more strict, also starting in september you MUST have RID unless you fly in FRIAS
ОтветитьYou deserved it.
ОтветитьI just bought the mini 3, my first drone. They are alot of fun. It’s an addicting hobby.
ОтветитьOk so let’s be clear, because you are not. You were NOT arrested for flying this drone.
Ответитьwish people would just mind their own business
ОтветитьKenya lol, no running water in the village, abject poverty, but manages to have a law requiring everyone register their drones....seems like the priorities are squared away there.
Ответить43 seconds into it stops video….😂 ok that’s why….the Buckingham Palace scene in National Treasure has taught me well…I’ll never fly international until I FIRST….yep…but hey at least you got over a million views out of the ordeal 😂
ОтветитьWell, when you travel you just have to read about the laws in other countries. And even with the Mini 3 Pro you have to register in Germany. And you need insurance.
ОтветитьI don't know how anyone can stick to the "visual line of sight" rule. Being a new drone flyer, I lose sight of my drone in about 5 seconds and once you lose sight of it at a distance it is next to impossible to acquire it. I don't know if it will save me bum if push comes to shove, but I just "interpret" the rule to mean as long as there is nothing obstructing my view of where the drone is, I am able to know I need to land if an aircraft appears in the vicinity, which really should be the only gotcha.
ОтветитьHey Hey, where did you register your drone in Kenya? Can you do it online or do you have to do it at the airport?
ОтветитьPlease do some small affordable drone reviews 🙏
ОтветитьSo flying in an area where it clearly isn’t allowed with an unregistered operator/drone. The chance of getting into trouble isn’t that big but when you travel please be respectful of the law. Pretty basic stuff
ОтветитьI'll say it right now, i live in the United States states and I'll say PISS on the done laws ! Most of us know exactly why these nefarious drone laws are in place and I for one WILL NOT observe any of them ! I will continue to fly safe and do my part not do disturb others on private property but beware of you come to harass me about flying my drone, it won't be a good day for you I promise
ОтветитьUnder 250grams for the win, no remote i.d. needed unless you registered it.
Fly em while you can b4 they bactrack on the 250g weight
Learn to hand launch.
Ответитьi'm with you re.the beauty of that drone and that you broke no regulations at all. however, flying over a group of german police officers was not a good idea.they will do all their bs even though you were below registration weight. and once they start doing their bs, they try to justify it. even if they know they are wrong. not the most clever persons working in german police.
ОтветитьI’m sure the guards at Auschwitz were “very professional” too.
Ответить
