Thats not a D#, thats an Eb, and those of you saying they're the same are wrong.

Now the piano roll only automatically notates sharps, but that doesnt mean that the notation is correct.

Sharps and Flats, and Double Sharps and Double Flats are accidentals. D# and Eb are the same pitch, making them Enharmonic

But because they have the same pitch, does not mean they're the same note

Any form of C chord will always be C E G, this is because of the 'alphabet rule' in diatonic scale notation, meaning you have to use all letters in the alphabet once.

Hence, all C chords have to follow the pattern C E G

C major
C E G

C minor
C Eb G

C augmented
