Do not think u can do this. Rules have charged. And you need cash for medical and traveling to get back and no 180 visas

We will definitely visit here. I love cool weather, especially after spending 2 months on our sailboat in Isla Mujeres! We’re taking it to Rio Dulce, Guatemala, for hurricane season, so being closer to there would be good. Have you spent any time in Guatemala?

$400 a month for food for a single person sounds hi to me. I eat very good quality fresh food here in Cali for alot less a month.

San Cristobal has the cheapest accommodation in Mexico. It is the main backpackers town in Mexico by the number of backpackers hostels. There is even a wallmart in San Cristobal.

Great video! That sounds like the perfect weather for me. The language right would be a challenge as I am not fluent in speaking, I do understand most spoken. Plus it's "close-ish" to Guatemala, I love Guatemala.

With 3 years to go until retirement, San Cris is #1 on our short list. We love cool weather and the sound of the laid-back bohemian vibe sounds appealing....I picture the vibe similar to a Mexican version of Asheville, North Carolina.
We may just live in our 6-7 cities for 3 months each, to decide which one to pick as our home base.

I've lived happily in Mexico for $1,000 USD, or less. But having a reserve of emergency savings is important for unexpected emergencies. You two make a great couple, compliments!
