True vs. False Christians: TEST. -Paul Washer & Tim Conway

False Christian: Pastors Paul Washer and Tim Conway emphasize that the vast majority of people who claim to be Christians are actually deceived, false Christians, and will end up in Hell. The true Christians are only a few--and they have a burning desire to take in God's word and to OBEY God's word--this is the LOVE OF GOD (John 14:15, 23 NIV). This is the same kind of teaching the Lord Jesus Christ emphasized in Matt. 7:13-14, 21-23. True Christians have been completely and obviously changed by the Holy Spirit whereby they receive entirely new affections and desires for God, holiness, righteousness, and purity.

False Christians, on the other hand, merely profess Jesus as Lord and profess to be saved and yet they've never been changed and they still love their sins and wicked practices. Let's put it this way, today if you profess to be a policeman and you scream that you "believe" you are a policeman; does that mean you will be accepted by the state to be a policeman? Of course NOT. You would need to prove in your actions that you want to, and is a policeman. As a Christian, works don't save you but works from a heart to serve PROVES your faith is real (James 2:14-26 NIV). And if you have recognized how wretched and evil you are--in poverty of holiness(Matthew 5:3 NIV), and you have begged God to receive you into His kingdom through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ--then YOU WILL DESIRE TO LOVE, SERVE AND OBEY GOD (Luke 7:47 NIV).
