JW Murder or Suicide of 2 Brothers? Tragic Moore Family Documentary. *MUST SEE

I saw this. The investigation was very questionable.
If you Google "Waco Kingdom Hall tire tool attack" you will see news from 2015 I believe of a man that attacked a JW in the parking lot of a KH.

This is a heartbreaking documentary of how Jehovah's Witnesses/Watchtower have affected a Canadian family in the worst way possible. It is shared with respect to all those so painfully affected and, most of all, to the two dead young brothers. May they rest in peace.

I felt this was important to share on my channel because it really details how JW teachings affect young minds...the pain, the terror, the alienation from society and self. Whether these boys died by suicide or not, this documentary shows exactly how choosing death can seem better to JWs rather than the current sufferings and terrors. Young minds can be particularly ruined by these doctrines.

😓💔.....those poor boys suffered miserably. They knew something was wrong. They knew it was a twisted harsh destructive repressive, fear-mongering and scary cult and desperately wanted to get OUT! But they're feet were tied🥺! Somebody wanted to keep them quiet about something. 😔💔

OMG! The narrator said Ogema, Wisconsin!!!??? That's just over an hour away north of me in Wisconsin! Let me listen to this story. I never heard about this from 1993 as I was in Chicago at the time newly indoctrinated coming into the Borg at 20 after my Mom died of a 12 year cancer battle in 1992. I'm going to share this with Ex-JW's Wisconsin and Midwest.

So the abusive father knows that the car is gone and yet is standing by the trees and then comes back to get her and her daughter. Then he makes them wait and then they hear a gunshot. Then the dad pretends to cry with no tears. He just bought them a motorbike to bribe them to go to the hall and now they still don't want to go. Sounds to me like he thought his kids would be destroyed in Armageddon so he just killed them both. Who knows what else he was doing to them besides physical beating them up? No fingerprints on the gun and it is far away from them covered in leaves?.At any rate it was horrible police work!

I just got done watching the original video and they mentioned that there was a book written about it and there was a court date coming up concerning the father's abuse of both of those boys....

I found the boys doodles and writing interesting. They show their depression but the evidence still points to murder. I doubt it was suicide even if they were depressed.
Can the religion be blamed? I was known as a fairly positive person before joining the Watchtower. At age 32 I joined Jehovah's Witnesses. At first I was extremely HAPPY thinking I'd found "the truth" but within 3 years of the constant indoctrination my journal entries were also full of depression, death, fear, and struggle. I even hoped that family members would die before Armageddon based on the beliefs taught at the Kingdom Hall. Hell yes the teachings of the Watchtower make people crazy. This poor mother deserves the justice of seeing the murderer along with the Watchtower empire taken down.

I think with todays DNA testing this would be a slam dunk!!!

This reminds me to some extent of the Kim and Geoffrey Anderson murder in Canada. I hope Geoffrey's in jail for awhile,he killed his whole famenemy lol.

I am so frustrated watching this story knowing that Geoffrey Jackson knew then that there are other "true religions" and he wouldn't tell anyone! Just heartless! Think of how many JW lives could have been saved by this knowledge.

Wow.... I remember being just like those kids drawing all kinds of things in the books.... The Revelation book was terrifying as a young person who believed the that was the truth... Spiritual abuse for all, sexual abuse for many.

How Tragic I feel sorry for the mother i know what kind of pressure JWs put on there children i saw it first hand and I know that horrible Revelation book all's it shows is death and destruction and that's all the JWs preach and they purposely scare the hell out of there children i involved with JWs for almost 3 year's in the late 80s I know they think all there loved ones are better off Dead is a very Corrupt Cult I think they should reopen the case and do a new investigation!

This is incredibly sad. Something is definitely wrong with this case. Something not adding up.

Is there any update on this case, what about the daughter, how is she doing, omg what a horrible cult - I rem this case, I would not be surprised the father took jehobie throne and executed them YES today's DNA would dunk this sad mess

The investigation by police is appalling. I would bring charges against them and demand a new investigation. Sounds to me like the boys were depressed and for good reason. It sure sounds like the father did the terrible deed. I was a JW for most of my life. I have been away for 3 years and my mental health has definitely improved. It is a cult and a horrible environment for anyone, especially children

JWs are the weirdest people I have ever met, just totally odd people. I never will understand why these people will waste their lives on a man-made religion that makes no sense.

There is plenty of small town Police Command the majority of these Officers know there limintations and dont hesitate to call in experienced Officers from outside they did not arrive till 5pm is a disgrace no Forensics whatsoever experts would have been able to judge if those boys actually pulled the trigger of that gun or was it someone else .Was there even photos taken ?? And there feet ??? Detectives from another area could take it on as a cold case.

I watch this years ago & just thought about this case. Science has came along way since 1993. I wonder if Vidocq Society could help. They are BEST of The BEST in solving Cold cases. I am fixing to see if they are any updates to this case. Praying for Justice !!!

What in the hell took so long for police to arrive to a murder?

Has anyone ever looked into this case? It just sounds like these boys were forgotten.

Ex JW./POMO / DF from Phillips, WI here. Holy fuck balls i am in shock. Stunned that not only does anyone even know about this event but to take the time to make a documentary? Blows my mind. I had, fairly recently, discovered Roberta's real crimes link, but had no idea this was made. (apparently there's a book too? Oh my.)

The Moore family did attend the Phillips Kingdom Hall. John and Lisa still attended fairly regularly while I was still attending through 2000.

The mother was an "apostate" before this. My family had moved to Phillips in July of 1993 and I think I'd met the boys twice. We were told it was a murder suicide, that Robert had shot Ben before killing himself and reminded that we shouldn't cry because they'd be in Paradise... Eh, maybe. IF Jehovah forgives them. Oh and don't talk to their mom. She was not to be spoken to at all. Comfort John and Lisa and their Witness family (Roberta's brother and family were, and mostly are, still very active Witnesses) but not her. It's so cruel, how she was treated. It was very quickly... Well... They were never talked about after the funeral talk. It wasn't allowed. Grieving is essentially not allowed as it shows a lack of faith in their embodiment of God. So, because of that, I never heard much or thought much about it other than feeling bad for John and Lisa. Now that I'm out, I decided to look things up. For my own peace of mind.

It was a mess of a case. Heitkemper is an idiot, in late 1998/earoy 1999, he refused to arrest my then husband for domestic violence because "he didn't hit you, there's no marks on you so it's not abuse. I don't want to come here again." so to hear how badly he bungled this case is, sadly, unsurprising..

Roberta passed away only a few years ago never finding the truth, I hope somehow she found peace in her heart. I wish for justice. For Robert and Ben. For those still hiding inside afraid to speak out or leave. For all hearts bearing loads too big for them.
