Great video. I’m on my 5th air compressor in 10 years of painting. I will definitely be investing in the one you mentioned. 👍

I see all your paints in the background. I have a few questions. Do you use water base or urethane paints? Where did you get your paint rack from? I currently use urethane paints but I do have some water base paints but I can never get the water base paints to flow correctly. I know you used wicked paint on your Jeep hood. Oh yeh! If you ever decide to get you a patron or patreon page not sure the name to get paid for your knowledge I would definitely subscribe. 👍

Noise can be an issue on residential settings with grouchy neighbors...

If I don't care about noise (its just for base coating minis every once in a while) does a shop compressor work?

I was thinking about buying a husky for airbrushing shoes. I don’t even know what kind of compressor works best for what I’m wanting. Any tips ?

I want an airbursh to use just for blowing paint or ink around a canvas. I am not planning to use paint in the airbrush-just air. What kind of compressor do I need?

Hi there. I really enjoyed this video! I just purchased an Iwata airbrush that was recommended. I am going to be restoring vintage Singer sewing machines and want a professional looking paint job. I wish I could afford the compressors you listed but... Can you suggest something that would work for me? It wouldn't be used on a day to day basis. I don't car about the noise level. Thank you!!

There's no such word as "condensate"! The word is CONDENSE

You are pronouncing Iwata like it’s spelled Aiwata.

The best is "JUN" air (Oil bath), also Iwata airbrushe compressors are made by Sparmax who invented the original oil free compressor back in 93'. Silentaire motors are made in Italy as are most oil bath compressors. The best deal is any Sparmax twin with a tank. Mount you moisture trap at least 8-10 feet from the compressor head with a larger hose, as this allows the air to cool helping the moisture trap to work. Also make sure the pump is on the ground and the moisture trap is higher so the moisture will drain back into the tank. If you work long hours, drain the tank daily. NEVER USE A COMPRESSOR WITHOUT A MOISTURE TRAP!!! I was a spray painter from the early 60's, finished college after Vietnam with an Art degree. I have used and taught airbrush course till I retired. I was the service agent for most of the airbrush importers here in Australia for many years. Also I've own most brands and Sparmax (cheapest) and JUN (expensive) are the best. I hope this clears up a few things.
