Be interested to hear your take on Ultravox. Systems of Romance has always sounded prog-tinged to me. Also Astradyne and Vienna on the next album, although it's much less proggy overall.

This was a huge bummer. Andy is brilliant and has become my “go to” for music criticism and commentary. When he started ripping on the US, that was just unnecessary and unfortunately tainted my opinion on his material. I accept that may be immature or even intolerant on my part, but just ripping down someone’s country has no place in this discussion. I still wish both these men the best.

"Rush came late to the game" and "Neil Peart is great for Rush music": these ideas that I first heard articulated by Andy Edwards helped me understand my own feelings for Rush. I'm one of the prog lovers from the early days who could never comprehend why Rush was considered by so many to be a prog band.

For me Andy sounds like David Walliams. That is a bonus.

I’m from England. I commend you both that you’ve both kept me listening half was through this banter😄. Andy reminds me of one of my guitar students, he rabbits on and on, but I love him anyway! The whole trouble with Prog in the 70s was, people took it so seriously, I’m 61, I remember it, like punk. Thank you both, for revealing for what it was.. a load of hogwash, but we listened to it anyway!😎

Despite being a fan of Andy, I don't think Ringo is underrated......

I only sort of bought into this "feud" but I really appreciate both of these guys & also really enjoy their opinions & love of music.

I have to say this is one the best YT videos I've ever seen! The seemingly realish beef which quickly became parody then a lovefest with all kinds of personal reveals. You guys should do more videos together, cheers!

Calling someone 'underrated' is not an attack on the drummer. It is more of an attack on the adulation placed on that drummer by the people, many of whom have never held a stick.

Andy respects the hell out of both Ringo and Neil, and I agree with him that both drummers have achieved reputations that aren't necessarily accurate.

I'm a massive Peart and Rush fan, but I know that Peart was perfect in Rush...was he perfect outside of Rush?

There is English, and then there is the bastardized version of English used in the US.
