The name of the building according to the Guell Park images is: Gingerbread house #1: The Administration Lodge, which houses the Park Güell gift shop. Love your work!
ОтветитьSo cool! Will try my hand on this building as well. The first ones were so much fun to do!
Taria, you mentioned you didn't know any other fun architects besides Gaudi. I would ask you to look up Hundertwasser (his buildings) in Vienna. I'm sure you will love them too!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration and knowledge with us.
Love this whole sketch Taria! I was so proud of myself Taria because I did myfirst sketch in the middle of my home town with a lot of people around. I wasn't in their way but they were so gracious and was smiling to see a person sitting and sketching..❤ it was wonderful! Cant wait to go back out!
ОтветитьLove this series and the whimsy and colour in the spread! So inspiring, Taria. Thank you!
ОтветитьI absolutely love your creations!!! They’re so clever! I didn’t realise that a “spread” meant all the pictures on the same page. I’ve been drawing along with you and absolutely loving it, but mine are all on separate pages. Which is fine too! But you’ve definitely inspired me and now I might try another city all on the same page. Love you Taria, you’re amazing!!!!! Xxxxx
ОтветитьAnother inspiring sketch. Really like the tower extending beyond the frame. Still have to get used to the idea of bringing things into the sketch. Putting the trees in really helped frame the building. Thanks so much for this series. Wish I could be joining you guys in April but am unable to unfortunately.
Ответитьthis is such a fun series, I love it ☺☺☺
ОтветитьExcellent! Thanks Taria
ОтветитьHi Taria... Jim from Madrid, Spain (a fellow artist and a New Yorker expat living abroad).
I am/was liking your videos but I don't like that you are giving examples of what you will be doing in your Sketchbook Plein air/Urban sketching tour in Barcelona and you are practicing at home drawing from pictures and you are unable to explain what you're painting (what & where)...
I think it is disrespectful, at least... don't you think?!
Everybody needs to make money... but there are limits (I beliave)... would you do the same if it was your hometown in the UK?
I'm giving you a thumb down... And yes... I am a US citizen living in Spain! And I've lived in other countries too... But RESPECT is extremely important, specially if you're monetizing it.
Sorry... it's the truth!
