Amazing video
ОтветитьDude the spoolgy gun conversion is perfect 👌🏻
ОтветитьLove the kitbashing, espeically the heavy flamer - and great paintjob as always :)
ОтветитьI’m like you enjoy the slow and steady approach. You have to love the death guard. Such wicked looking models, some of the best GW have.
ОтветитьHenry are you 'trying' to sound like nerd Emperor Cavill?!😂 Cos.. YOU DO🖖🏼
ОтветитьCan you make the video about Painting & Kitbashing Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrols?
- Space Marine Chapters: Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Raven Guard, Space Wolves

'Maybe speed painting isnt for me'. Henry, I own EVERYTHING from the release of Octarius. EVERYTHING. My pile of shame should have me on a list. (Ive painted 5 models🤫)
Ответить@Cult of Paint, I'm so sorry man, your models were looking so great until you used that industrial wash. Everything just popped imo until you added it. Less is more allot of times. I bought the Mandrake Kill Team but am having trouble putting them together.
ОтветитьYou guys coming to Adepticon 2025? I'm finally going and would like to sign up for paint classes!
ОтветитьThat's too bad. I love your quick takes on art. I think a mix is cool, but do what you love.
Ответитьare you planning on doing some Mechanicum or Dark Mechanicum Legions Imperialis?
ОтветитьDon't think I can add any new praise that hasn't been said already Henry, they look amazing! Glad you took your time with them and really wish to see more converting in your projects, especially if your heart wishes to do so. I have one question though - how do you fill gaps in your models? While building these Plague Marines I had a hard time, as either I used thin plastic glue, which left annoying gaps in the connections no matter how hard I squeezed, or I used "sprue glue", which filled the gaps well, but flooded the surrounding details aswell. Noticed you didn't have such trouble for example on "spleuge gun"
ОтветитьThe "modern" models have far too much crap on them. I do exactly the same to make them less busy, it Improves them enormously. Amazing as always mate
ОтветитьI'd love to see your take on the bullgoar ravagers. Maybe trying for two or three different colours of hair amongst the squad could be an interesting angle for the video, if painting all that fur on a efficient manner and still keeping them interesting looking...
ОтветитьGreat work and great video! Enjoyed watching, Ive got a tonne of Deathguard to do... thanks for the inspiration!
ОтветитьI have seen in on of your vids you have the abteilung 502 sepia oil paint and i wanted to ask can i use this instead of seraphim sepia wash from GW for death guard 30k style ?
ОтветитьHow dare you cut the Nurglings off sir. I take umbrage.
ОтветитьThere's something so satisfying about watching the confidence in your kitbashing, happily just chopping bits up and experimenting with all sorts. I've never done any kitbashing but this video in particular's likely to make me start - I love the idea and lore behind the Death Guard but there's a lot about the way they look that I thought could be more to my taste. Awesome vid and great result!
ОтветитьNew year new army project?? Id love to see you tackle a death guard army similarly to the black templars project yu did recently
ОтветитьMan that flamer is so cool! I love the conversions you did and honestly it's nice you went into your mistakes; I think content creators can give off this aura of invincibility sometimes and admitting you don't like something you did and what things you learned is humanizing. Awesome video, glad I found this channel!
Ответитьyour videos are so inspiring, just want to go paint!
ОтветитьNice corrosion effect thats hpw i do my DG too!
Ответитьtbh i dont think its your fault that you cant speed paint CSM because of all the unecessary details on them which should be optional to add
ОтветитьLate to the party though I am, I'd absolutely love to see your take on a tau pathfinders/hunter cadre kill team. Some of the more unusual septs have quite cool and unique colour schemes that may be fun to play with.
ОтветитьI am 100% with you on the painting speed. As much as I wish I could knock out an army in 24 hours, I paint slow and I enjoy it.
Great job on these too. Love the more muted Death Guard.
By the way, whats the plan with the other half of the Kill Team box? Would love to see your take on the Minotaurs
ОтветитьFantastic!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьI'd love to see more kitbashes, these models turned out stellar 👍
ОтветитьIt is nice to see when things go wrong, we all get things wrong and it's encouraging to see, as you say 'please don't be afraid to fail'. Great video!
ОтветитьId love to see what you guys can do with the Mandrakes kill team. Artel W also makes some awesome mandrakes.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Was looking for a good tutorial for this team. One question though. I use the same oil paints as you and I wait like 24-48 hours for them to dry. Are you telling me that I can just apply them then seal it with varnish and keep on painting?
ОтветитьI've seen lots of painting videos, I've actually not painted for a long time and am still firmly a novice, and I think part of me is nervous and making excuses, but your comment around not being afraid to try new things was really inspiring, I think I'll make a space and just start slapping paint on whatever I have. Thanks for the awesome videos, really chill and engaging with your commentary, I like the self-aware style and being able to recognise when you didn't like something but still explain what you did, your frame of mind, it's really insightful.
ОтветитьThis actually really helped me with mecha design concepts! Helped me better understand guiding the viewer and having good balance in colours and shapes, thank you! 😊
ОтветитьMore kill teams please. I love the minis in this video. 😊
ОтветитьNice and gnarly! Great job on the bashing and the painting.
ОтветитьGotta agree, I too cannot get anything from "speed painting" it's just not enjoyable for me
Ответитьhello great job!!! what did you use for the flesh of the flamer?
ОтветитьI'll answer despite being in the UK,my goals are to finish some of my stash for 2025
ОтветитьGreat video, could you share what you used for the skin on the head, the white looks so cool, but dont think you went over it in the video?
Ответитьhow did you do the skin for the guy at the end?
ОтветитьIm buying these, but still im not sure if should I paint a base coat or not over the color they bring on top or just use the plastic color as the base already. Opinions?
ОтветитьI ended up heavily converting all my DG stuff. Too corny. Shame .. the creative direction on the old PMs was so much better.
ОтветитьGW really has made their models in such a fashion with mono pose that kit bashing has been squeezed out of the hobby, which is sad 😢
ОтветитьLove it, I totally agree on turning the crazy Nurgle down from 11 to 7.
ОтветитьReally love it! Do you have a guide for how you did the base? You just inspired me regardless of them already having scenery bases to try something out different with them!
Ответитьgorgeous - love the sorcerer
ОтветитьI agree that the Death Guard looks a bit too cartoony and I like how you managed to correct that
ОтветитьThe grandfather approves
Ответить
