My CRAZYYY $10 Garage Sale Find!!! Restoring and repairing a solid mahogany dresser #furnitureflip

I have been holding onto this solid mahogany dresser for years… like way before I even flipped furniture! I got it for $10 at a garage sale and have been using it ever since :) Here’s how I transformed it with the @MinwaxUSA three-step process!

+ fixed the crack with wood glue
+ sanded off the old finish
+ applied @minwaxusa Oil Based Pre-Conditioner to prep for stain
+ applied @minwaxusa Semi-Transparent Penetrating Stain in Early American.. my go-to stain color for anything MCM!
+ sealed it all up with @Minwaxusa Fast Drying Oil-Based Polyurethane in Warm Satin. This stuff is the BEST! I like to sand with a really high grit sandpaper between coats (400 grit!) for a flawless finish.

What do you think!? This piece was a perfect example that sometimes all you need is a little bit of styling & stain to revive a gorgeous piece of vintage furniture! 😍
