I tried this and each time the sides kept curving and the bag kept getting smaller so instead of a square it was more like a semi circle…I am not really sure how to stop the curving

Urgent question, do we do the slip stitch only on one side of the bag? and then we do the half double knot in the middle a complete round till we reach the slip stitch and do another slip stitch on that same side? Do I understand correctly?
