There is no reason to continue to fund a postal service with any government money. YES, there will be negatives but NO you don't have to lose service for "unprofitable" areas. You fix that as the government. You can pass a law to force the new entity to continue to provide service to those areas. There are numerous ways the company could address the issue. Most likely the people/companies using the postal service will pay more. But we MUST cut government spending and this is an EASY cut to make. The hard cuts are yet to come with military spending, social security and medicare.

Considering it’s $64,000 a year to go there, those numbers seem a little low. You are expected to payout a third of your family’s collective income as tuition, that doesn’t include housing, food, healthcare or school supplies such as text books. (That has always gotten me, how can the books required for the class not be included in the tuition? How can you charge tuition then turn around and make me spend hundreds of dollars per book, some classes requiring multiple books. I guess we should feel lucky to have a place to sit and are out of the weather for most classes. They could start charging for desks and ac/heat.

My fear with this tech is all it takes is one very savvy person to have it be the press secretary instead. Maybe he's not talking about something silly, maybe he's in a congressional hallway, it looks like he's been ambushed by reporters and he's saying, "Trump says nothing is off the table, not even nukes" as he walks away. Something like that gets spread on Twitter and a lot of outlets will check and see that the press secretary didn't actually even visit congress that day, and was verifiably elsewhere... But it won't matter.

The same news networks that didn't fact check whether an Olympic athlete was actually a woman ran with the headlines, Olympic man pummels woman in sanctioned domestic violence. They have an agenda, and if the press secretary seemingly saying inflammatory things about the possibility of nuclear weapons being used they will run with it. For the ratings. They didn't fact check something as easy as what is the gender of this Olympic athlete (the story behind why that started is wild btw.), why bother finding out if this thing that has hundreds of thousands of views on Twitter is real?
