I love pickled/smoked fish of most kinds.. Herring salat, including cubed beets, pickled herring pieces, purchased from the supermarket during the summertime at our Oma's house. So delicious.
I haven't met a pickled/smoked anything that I haven't liked. ❤

i like the cream cheese spread evenly on both sides. each half then goes face up on the plate and gets topped with salmon. if it were to be wrapped togo i would want each half wrapped up this way.
when cream cheese is only on one side and then its put together this way even with a simple tomato the other side is dry and barren i dont like it that way. I dont eat it like a sandwich,
some places are in a hurry they have alot of people to serve, they slap it together this way and often dont spread the cream cheese. they just lump it on.
for such emphasis on bagel quality and getting a good bagel which is like good pizza hey you have to dress it up right.
