With such huge amounts,You didnt do ur due diligence before paying to the wrong beneficiary.i.e look at the account holder, do a call back to client who owns account before transfer..

Under the governorship of the late Mutebire , Bagyenda closed a commercial Bank and sold it within 2 hours at a discount of 93% . She lied , she stole , but nothing happened to her. Mutebire died in Office . So much can we trust this so called Bank Of Uganda . It a rotten fish .

When a national bank becomes someones property, all these things happen. I can imagine when what happened with 60 billion shillings that were printed in dubious ways and flown in. There was a whistle blower. You recovered 40b and 20b disappeared in thin air. I hope the balance won't disappear in thim air just like the 20b that's if even the said funds have been recovered. I think it could have been BEC ( bussiness email compromise) hackers fooled BOU and sent wrong bank details and account numbers,thus funds diverted.
