I actually have parts to a portal, but I can’t find it

I recently found how to emulate my own copy of the Wii-u version of this game on my pc, with my old save data and everything, and plugging the portal’s cable into my pc’s USB port has it work with the emulator too!
This was all a few months ago, so this game has been freshly in my mind, making me enjoy and appreciate this video so much more💖

i did origionally have the ps4 version but i dont really like it bc i had to use my brothers ps4 but recently i got the wii u disc so i dont have to borrow his console

Dang, I have an Xbox series s but when I search Lego Dimensions it says it is unavailable which I can’t play 😢. But watching other people play tells me they have a lot of fun.

started playing Lego dimensions recently and got a big lot of sets for $80 which included the portal and back to the future level packs.

You can write toy tags by holding down the character select button and going to building instructions. It also allows you to upgrade vehicles.

So I have a ps4 and ps5, the SEALED version of Lego dimensions for ps4 is expensive. I bought the Wii U pack sealed for 30 bucks and I found the ps4 disk for dimensions for 30 bucks. So I basically got a sealed Lego dimensions pack for ps4 only for 60 bucks which was a steal! Also if you have a ps5 you can use ps4 disks in the ps5 if you didn’t know!

Lego dimensions didnt have a pc port because it was still the era of toys to life games. WB (the one who called the shots in lego dimensions development, not lego fyi) wanted it to be like how skylanders was, console only so anyone from the wii u to the ps4 and so on could play the game. They didnt have any sequels or so like skylanders and Disney Infinity did because they saw there wasnt a reason to when they could update the game via dlc files and the like. Also you should mod your wiiu and look up a certain cough program cough cough to be able to install the dlc content once more. As you cant use the year 2 lego dimensions content without the dlc update for that character series.
To download dlc on any other platform that supports ot you would go on options on rhe main menu. Since eshop is closed, you have to rely on modifications to the system and get it running custom firmware to load rhe dlc update files for lego dimensions if you want to use any of rhe orange colored nfc pucks liek that tina one you got there.

Also fun fact: the game was made using real Lego builds and Minifigures and the like that were EXCLUSIVELY used for this game.



There's footage of how they actually scanned real lego models into the game to make the models easier. By this information, that means there was official lego Minifigures of all the unique npcs shown, builds of all the major characters and bosses like ice king from adventure time and glados from portal, and so on. And you can built them all if you have the parts.
