IMPORTANT NOTE BECAUSE I REPLAYED THIS LITERALLY LIKE THE OTHER DAY: you weren't misremembering the tower! I still cant tell if its like. Locked from falling over until after you kill the big guy, or if its just a REALLY finicky about where you place the airstrikes, but you ARE supposed to use that tower! It's just a little broken lol.

And yes! His name was Forzen LMFAO. I just rewatched the series yesterday with my friends because its the anniversary :) AND thanks for the xen tips. Im currently playing xen as I watch you and now I'm glad i watched you play certain parts of it before pausing and playing my parts. Xen is so cool as a concept but god all the levels suck so much ass. Crunch is the devil.

Also: weirdly reassuring to hear you haven't played Decay yet, either. I was starting to feel like a fake Half Life fan bc its the only official one I have yet to play LMFAO. So seeing a seasoned fan of the games not having played it yet made me feel better- I've literally been considering getting a whole ps2 just to play my copy of it.
