Global firepower is a total joke with its Russian military equipment numbers. Saying that Russia had 14,000 tanks pre-war is complete garbage. Maybe 9000 tanks at most with in 2000-3000 worthless shape. The Russians probably have 3000 workable tanks now after losing over 5,000 tanks. Oryx/War spotter vastly undercounts Russian tanks losses.These Military Show videos are accurate in the large scale, but Russia is in far worse shape than this video demonstrates. Poland+Ukraine together would a stern match for Russia in its current state. Does any Russian military leader have the courage to tell Putin that at its current rates losses their armed forces will be destroyed by 2026? China could walk into Siberia virtually unopposed.

I knew this as a private but i also had one of the highest security clearances. this was in the late 80's i found out russia was not what they were saying. Two years later the wall came down and the usa was not even aware of it.

When you take into account that the US just finished the war on terror and has 3.5 million trained war fighters in their reserve pool it gets scary for any adversary planning a conventional attack.

Strength is good but its the losses your will to endure that will decide a victory or not. Would the US endure 100,000 + dead? We can see russia does not care about casualties.

If the US goes to war and needs men then Selective Service would kick in. 18-25 your registered for Selective Service if you get a drivers license I believe.

I saw a defense expert, can't remember his name, but said Russia is fighting a 21st century war, using 20th century military using 19th century logistics. And Russian strat has always been throwing numbers at their enemy.

More and more russian nuclear ballistic subs are being dry docked in Polyarny. They simply can’t afford to refit them for modern duty. This leaves an increasing number of decommissioned nuclear warheads. They can’t much get tritium either. There is a danger, as their use-it-lose-it posture is ever present. To me the most mind-boggling proof just how powerful the US military is this: one aircraft carrier fleet (with its array of FA-18s & F-35s) has a stronger air force than most countries. And the Americans have 12 or so such carriers. And we haven't even factored the US Air Force into the equation, that was just the Navy! What?! 😂

Finally someone who mentions the U.S. Navy Fighter jets. USAF has 1800+ while U.S. navy has 900+. Almost 3,000 total.

The USA has 35 trillion economy through which they conquered many parts of the world.
Defence power is directly connected to the economy.

Having said that, still, the USA, who fears the most, is Russia.
Russian economy is not in the best 10th in the world.

Russians as far more determined. As example they volunteered 45.000 soldiers back in 14 September 1954 to evaluate troops performance on a Post Apocalyptic War. They launched a nuclear warhead on top of soldiers and tanks spreaded across Tocooa. Now that is moral making exercises on a highly nuclear contaminated area.

Currently Russians are trying too use up their inventory of old inventory and trying to used north Korea soldiers as speed bumps.
