ОтветитьThere are two ways to shoot a bow.
There is a way to use force from the sky to the ground and shoot from the front of the human body backwards.
This is a traditional Korean archery method.
There is a way to use force horizontally and shoot left and right. This is how to shoot a recurve.
Although each method has its pros and cons, the traditional Korean archery method is beneficial for health and mental concentration.
I always wondered why Uukha never produced monolitic trad bows...in the end someone else preceded them
Ответитьhavent seen you this excited about a bow in a long long time. i think i even heard you say a cuss word.
do you think this would hold up to hunting? a rougher environment then a shooting range? how long could you keep this bow strung for 24 hrs ? im really really interested in this one
I bought and own one of their previous bows of this style... and it is one of the worst bows I've had the displeasure of shooting. It was rated at 25# draw but my digital bow scale shows it as drawing 12.8 lbs at a 30 inch draw. It can't even get an arrow down a 20 yard lane and make it stick in the target. So I'd certainly hope their carbon bow is a better version of their prior "toy" bow that is currently sitting in a corner collecting dust. ; )
ОтветитьHow would you say this would compare to the Ali khans Hungarian fibreglass break down bow from a couple of months ago?
ОтветитьHello thank you for this nice and usefull review. Do you think this bow will be suitable for beginner and advance archer or limited to beginner?
ОтветитьArmin,
when you are measuring the speed, starting minute 12, you shoot arrows stating the following weights while displaying the GrainPerPound:
400 grain - 8.2 gpp -170, 176, 178 fps
385 grain - 7.9 gpp -177, 179
340 grain - 6.9 gpp - 185, 184,187 fps
Did you draw to 31-32" because it did not look like it to me.
As a feedback, I would appreciate it if you were more structured on the data of your bow reviews or make them more accessible such as with the Draw Weight:
38#@28"
43#@30"
49#@32"
Thank you for the insightful reviews nonetheless!
i ave order one, is the third bow i order with your valuable advice. thank you very much
ОтветитьARMIN :) YOU OLD DOG! THANKS FOR SHOWING ANOTHER OLD DOG ABOUT ARCHERY!
ОтветитьI'm new to archery and wanted something with a low barrier of entry and have pre-ordered this bow! My question is, what would e some appropriate arrows for me to buy to learn to shoot with. It kind of seemed like you assumed that the watchers knew from your vid what kind you were using. I for one didnt and would appreciate if you explained like I was 5 (: Thanks so much for the vid and any answers you can give to this question. Greatly appreciated.
🙏
Neat bow. I just ordered one. It does check alot of the boxes for sure. Is it twist proof? Did you let all those users string it themselves? Thanks Armin!
ОтветитьDo you think this bow would break shooting 6.5 GPP, 31 inch draws? Or is it just a matter of wrapping the handle? The white sounds nice.
ОтветитьIt’s a scam they hold on to your money for 60 days then say another 30 days on top avoid
ОтветитьHas anyone actually brought and received this bow???? !!!!
ОтветитьEt-4c ordered on November 6.
Price: $154 with code Armin and free shipping (Belgium).
Received December 26.
Superb bow, well made.
tested at short distance....wow
I received my bow! I love it! It shoots much better than I do.
(I no longer live where I can practice on my own property).
If I do everything somewhere near correctly the arrows fly very well and very accurately. I have other bows that are much less forgiving of minor imperfections in technique.
The draw is smooth ,and it is fast.
The siyahs are very narrow at the location of the string grooves, so I anticipate that this is going to be hard on the string loops. I may have to make a string that has super durable string loops servings.
I'm not sure how long the string that came with the bow will hold up. Some bows with very narrow siyahs are thickened at the string grooves.
Overall--it is an utterly amazing bow for the price!
Would this bow be optimal for use in long ranged combat archery with German IDV arrows? Or if not, which bow do you think would be best for use with them, given that they are quite heavy and must be used with a bow that is #30@28" or under? I was thinking that the short version of fiberglass Qinghai (Alibow) might be best, or perhaps the laminate Turkish (AF Archery), but now this bow seems interesting as well.
Ответить- Archeeeeeeeeers , in position....
ОтветитьI ordered it about a month ago, don't know when I'll receive it, but I'm looking forward to it 😁
ОтветитьStill not received my bow that I ordered on 11/11/23. 😠 No idea when it will actually be shipped.
Nika says they are prioritising production of low poundage bow first, rather than by order sequence. Disappointing and discriminating against high draw archers.
Fair warning on heavier draw versions: My order (November 3rd) for a 50Lbs version was just cancelled (1/8/24) by Nika, without my consent. They did, however, offer to notify me when the bow is available and to honor the original price. This is a disappointment, but perhaps for the best. Apparently they are having issues with higher weight versions that will require some unspecified duration to address. I recommended a non-takedown version and their reply indicated they might be considering it. For a Chinese company, their communication is excellent, with the exception of canceling orders without customer consent.
ОтветитьJust a heads up, their site now says 150 days from the order date.
ОтветитьCool to see that it lasts throughout a cold night like in a camp out situation
ОтветитьSeems like a Scam honestly. Ordered last November. Heard nothing recd nothing. Waiting to hear about a refund.
ОтветитьDelay was 60 days then 90 days,now it's 180 days !
I don't know if I'm ever going to get m'y bow😔
Damnit, I want my 50lbs carbon crab takedown within the 4 foot length limit i designed in my head yrs ago, or I guess this is where I had a perfect vision of the perfect bow
Ответить@ArminHirmer. I think you may consider updating your review. The bow has now 6months wait and price has also increased to $189. The bow is undergoing redesign due to some flaws, maybe you can find out what these are. Imho the bow was prematurely launched. Im not sure if there is some partnering/sponsorship with Nika, but the Nika webpage has your image so perhaps you may have some inside information to share?
ОтветитьI just went over to the website where is states that it takes 150 days to ship and they are sold out of preorders. I sent an email expressing my interest in the ET-4C #50… I will update
ОтветитьHey Armin, we need your advices and maybe your help please. You promoted this Et-4C bow and numbers of your followers bought it. Now It’s seems that there is a problem with the production. The costumer service of Nika said that the bows above 30lbs have issues reported by costumers, Nika is pretty secretive on these issues. Now they are up to 150 days of delay trying to find a solution.
Would be nice if you can reach them and ask:
- What are the technical issues?
- Have any of those 30+lbs bow snapped?
- what have the costumers reported exactly?
- Are there any safety issues with those bows?
- How did they resolve those issues?
And maybe you could do an other review of the 50lbs when it finally comes out.
Thanks for the video, can you tell me who makes the shirt you are wearing?
Ответитьwish it wasnt a takedown
ОтветитьCould this bow be left as a two-piece, take-down bow?!?!
ОтветитьArmin, did you get to take this to the Parkiur range?
ОтветитьHi Armin,
I just thought I should let you know my experience with this lovely bow which you may or may not find interesting. I ordered it as 30# draw weight but my bow is much heavier than that.
The labels on the limbs read as follows: 311022 30A bottom limb and 311032 30B top limb.
I have only today been able to measure the draw weight and it reads as follows:
31.5 # @ 26"
36.4# @ 28" and
43.0# @ 30"
This is a substantial difference for me (6.4#) as I am a beginner at archery. My draw length is 30" so 43# at that length is difficult. I have sent an email to Nika about this for their information.
Nie ma problemu kolego 😁 Kind regards
ОтветитьDon't buy carbon products. Wood is best. Sinew for string is also better. Save your money buy real bows not ideas.
ОтветитьI am truly sorry. Because some customers complained that the ET-4C bow may have cracks on its surface after use, but testing was conducted on the returned cracked product. These bows did not break after 20000 shots of the 32.5inch draw length.
However, the appearance of cracks can affect the customer's user experience and make them worried about whether the bow will break.
In response to this complaint, we have made adjustments to the production formula of the ET-4C bow. So the shipping time of this product will be delayed.
In addition, it was China's Spring Festival holiday before, and factory workers went home for vacation. Production has been completely suspended, so the shipping time for this product has been further extended.
In this case, the ET-4C draw weight over 30lbs will require an additional 90 to 150 days of shipping time. Less than 30lbs draw weight require a shipping time of 60 to 120 days.
If you are unwilling to wait for such a long delivery time, please contact me for a full refund. We are truly sorry.
If you are willing to wait, I will give you an additional bowstring as a gift.
I really want to try one of these bows, hopefully they come back again soon
ОтветитьI tried a friend’s Nika et -4c 35# @28”I really did not like it too much hand shock was just way too much for me plus the grip was just totally useless sliding around on you at all times.I guess my friend got a product that did not go through quality control .At the end he got rid of it after doing some repairs to it.😢Would be cheaper to get an Alibow fibreglass Tartar bow at $75 dollars .Armin could it be yours was selected in such a way that you would give an outstanding review ? Beautiful video though.
ОтветитьAfter having waited for six months, I finallly got this bow. Needed some time to sand down the connecting middle part, but finally, it fits perfect. Oh girls and boys, I love this bow. I own more than 30 bows, somehow addicted to this hobby. This is the best non-laminated bow I own. Outstanding value for the price. Ordered in 35 LBS, no complains yet after 200+ arrows.
ОтветитьHi. I am at six [6] months from my order. I received the shipping notification midweek last week. I am eager to have it arrive.
ОтветитьMine arrived yesterday. An extra string, a Mik'a Archery 🏹 pin, a safety warning card.
It did take seven months, yet the result is well worth the wait. Mine is 30# at 28" in black. I will be ordering a second in white of 15ish # if they make a second run. Excellent review. Excellent product.
In case this helps anyone: I ordered a 44# on November 9th - a couple weeks ago I decided to cancel and get the af archery Tatar with carbon core and integrated string bridge. It’s similar enough and better, a proven design. Anyway, I asked Nika to cancel and they offered me a 30# which I declined. They did refund me but I had to ask them a few times before it finally got done. Maybe down the road when some longevity is proven I’ll try again. I would have loved to try it, but bottom line I got impatient.
ОтветитьFYI, I also ordered a 42lb in Nov 23 but decided to cancel it in May because why give money for something youll never get. Refund was straight forward. Glad I did though. 10 month since launch and orders are still not fulfilled.
Ответитьkleine anfängerfrage: wieso schlitzn dir d federn nicht die hand auf? so weich?
ОтветитьThe original crab bows were crap i had 3 of them and they never lasted more than 500 shots after the 3rd one broke i just asked for a refund. They were horrible
ОтветитьWell, I received mine in 40 lbs last week (ordered it december 2023).
I like it….I did glue it together and was suprised hoe accurate I was with just a few shots.
