I don't know if her other buffs compensates but nicole's def shred is useless for yixuan since she ignores defense anyways since she is a rupture unit

I hope we get an S rank physical agent soon, we had 3 ether s ranks this year so far

I am excited and definitely getting Yi Xuan at halfway to guaranteed atm. But I am deciding between the FOMO I have for Astra or saving for a Yanagi rerun with the rest of my poly. I'm sitting on 30k + 30 pulls atm. Only limited I have is Zhu Yuan and Evelyn.

Rina is my keystone character and I build all of my teams around her. She's super fun, and once you get her to M1, that pen buff feels real good!

you stated that nicole can be a good support for yi xuan, but you forgot shes a rupture character. rupture characters completely ignore def or pen ratio, so nicoles def shred is kinda useless unless you use her for the 25% ether damage.

it feels weird to not mention that Yixuan's "Aura Ink" element ignores defense, ergo not benefitting from Nicole's Def shred. I feel confident Nicole is still stronger than Koleda for Yixuan because of that Ether DMG and Crit rate buffs, but a lot of power is in the Def shred, so much less amazing with her than with most agents.

I also feel any statement of Rina being hard to play is overblown. The "tech" to play Rina well is Swap->Attack Button->Swap. There's a lot more that you can do, but that's all you need to do to keep Rina's buff up. The biggest tech is know what attacks are best to quick swap off of or know when to swap right before swapping would give a perfect assist, but without doing that, she's still really easy, people just overthink it.

I also think the statement on Rina being hard to build is weird. You just need a 2-piece Puffer Electro and a Pen% disk 5. Everything else is normal. I mean, everyone might as well get a Pen% Puffer piece with a disk selector. Barring upcoming Ruptures, almost every agent ends up optimal with Pen in endgame. Also, while it makes her Pen buffing a little worse, Drusilla and Anastella count for Kaboom, so only Rina and Lucy can consistently keep Kaboom's whole 16% buff up, and it's strong.

Rina is a good agent, though I think mostly only for shock disorder teams. But they feel nice, and fun.

So with Rina, you want a lot of penetration, but that penetration probably won't last long. I see. 😏

Though In all seriousness I am debating between getting MS 3 for Soldier 11 or MS 2 for Rina. As I enjoy using soldier and will be using Rina more after I get her W engine in the update.

I've been playing for about 5 days and as i look into the characters in this game i don't feel like pulling for anyone. i think i will just be saving my pulls and build the 9 characters i have. Thanks for the advice anyway 👍

Feel like the Rina sections is a bit off. M0 Rina E leaves the bangboo out for about 7 seconds and her ult leaves them for about 9 seconds at M0, and unless you're literally across the map when you do either of these, you can switch her out as soon as the attack touches anyone, just like Nicole. The only thing that doesn't have the buff last as long is if you basic and switch out with her (Which is about 5 seconds).

Either version of the buff is basically just as long as Nicole's debuff is, which is about 7-8 seconds in total with a field, 3.5 with anything else, and doesn't have to be reapplied to a specific unit to take effect. If you can play Nicole "Perfectly" you can play Rina perfectly, and with even less time on field. Personally at M1 Rina just becomes better than Nicole cause you can fit 2 6 stack "Shimotsuki" and an ult into that time, and their def/pen ratio is basically equalized here (Hell, you can build pen ratio to get more value from it opposed to def shred). Also, I'm pretty sure def shred and pen ratio don't exactly mix (They're basically the same but don't work as well together in this game as opposed to HSR and their def/vulnerability debuffs). Basically put def shred and pen ratio in their respective teams.

GUYS HELP!!! im a lycaon main i love him i have the teapot quinyi WENGINE ON HIM cause is the only S rank engine i have i use him on field when ellen missing flash freeze or he has eneg i just love his play style i have hugo aswell i want to know if the w engine is right for him being the only S one i have or an A rank with few copies would be better ?

only one of these characters i dont have that is out is ceasar. granted for the S ranks getting the mindscapes are stupid costly and i am not funneling an ATM into the game.

I'm a new player that started a week ago (I have finished the main story and reached lvl 40 on Inter-knot) and, with the upcoming 2.0 update, I'm perplexed and would like some guidance: the upcoming banner has Yi Xuan and Astra, and I would really like to pull for Astra because I want to build the Evelyn/Lighter/Astra team, however, I noticed that I lack damage output. I use Corin, and replacing her with Yi Xuan seems like a very optimal idea to struggle less with damage output and in the long run as well. I would really appreciate some help on deciding.

I recently started playing ZZZ and I was thinking of going for Solider 11 and her W Engine (mainly because I pulled lighter and have no one to use him with), but this video made me reconsider using the selector for M1 Rina so I can use her with Grace. Any opinions on what I should do?

I have Nicole on swing jazz 4pc, Phaethon 2pc, and ER disc 6. My goal is to drop as many balls as possible and to ensure that I can get the enemy corrupted by the stun window for ZY. It’s been working pretty well for me so far I think

I am a new Player. What is the Ranking Pull Value? Like who should I prioritize?

Always found Rina underwhelming, if you are not heavily investing into her and building her up to M1. But even then she gets outclassed easily. Especially with the Rupture agents in Season 2 she becomes less impactful, as Pen is a useless stat for them. I can see her as a workaround for other agents, but still, we cannot even reach her full pen, yet.

Wow, there's quite a lot of misinformation and bad advice in this video.

- Rupture agents completely ignore enemy defense so Rina and Nicole are not recommended for them. Nicole is still good for Yixuan only because of her ether damage boost, and her crit rate boost at M6 new players will not have. The two characters in the thumbnail of this video are probably the LEAST recommended characters for upcoming rupture characters!
- Rina's buffs last quite a lot longer than "1 to maybe 2 seconds," what?? You're severely underselling her potential as an agent, her buffs last about the same amount of time as Nicole's in actual gameplay. Her M1 is nice QOL but not mandatory for her to be good. That said, she is out classed by a lot of other supports.
- Lycaon's best set is no longer shockstar Disco, it's the new stun set. it's the new best set for arguably every stunner, where have you been?
- Lycaon should not be using lots of basic attacks and taking up field time, he should be focused on defensive assists and using his EX special and ultimate for the majority of his stun damage. On-fielding your stunner is a newbie trap.
- Rina is not hard to build, Pen ratio and flat pen from substats are not the same thing. The only way to get pen ratio (pen%) is through a slot 5 disc, two piece puffer electro and w-engine stats afaik.
- Getting an S rank from the standard banner will not "eventually happen." I've played since day one and lost plenty of 50/50s and I still don't have soldier 11. Don't bank on that. You'll possibly pull four of the same character before you have all of them.
- Yixuan is not as strong as Miyabi. Why would you assume and state that without looking at pre-release calcs and such?
- Recommending Yixuan over Astra or Caesar because Yixuan is a good DPS is very flawed logic. Astra and Caesar are two of the best supports in the game and can work on almost every single team and many more to come. Yixuan is moderately strong but there are many other alternatives. You should pull for who you like, but strong supports are inherently more valuable than strong DPS especially considering how few there are right now.

As someone covering this game you should know the majority of this info already. A lot of it is recent news. The rest of it has been the case forever and can simply be looked up.

Im new i got grace which character i select?

Hey, I’m a returning ZZZ player and could really use some advice.

I played briefly at launch (only got to Level 8), so my account is super underdeveloped. The characters I currently have are:
Soldier 11, Corin, Soukaku, Lucy, Ben, Billy, Anby, and Nicole.
I haven’t leveled anyone yet since I barely played, but I want to jump back in now that Season 2.0 is here it’s looking amazing.

The thing is… I’m overwhelmed by all the new characters and I don’t know who’s worth pulling for, especially as a free-to-play player. I know there’s a free selector too, but I’m not sure who gives the best value for my account.

For reference, I also play Wuthering Waves and love teams that do big, satisfying damage. My favourites are:
• Carlotta + Zhezhi
• Camellya + Sanhua
• Xiangli Yao + Yinlin
• Jiyan + Mortefi
Carlotta’s my fave love her playstyle and burst potential. I usually go for high-damage teams that feel smooth and satisfying to play.

So… any recommendations for who I should pull for or invest in right now in ZZZ? And which character from the free selector is worth picking up as a returning player with my current roster?
