Hi, home of the homeless troubled by deep questions, not the silly ones like: why my wife does`t want to?? mmm? got a question for you and a confession: I forgot twice to leave movie lenses in the basket ..ha ..ha and I started to goof around with them, of course in the cinema played looking with the glasses upside down to see 3D opposite!! far is near!! but at home I tore èm appart and I found that they are unidirectional, that is you see different if you turn the face of the plastic film.. can you and your "parner" have a discussion about that? my intuitive thinking doesn`t go so far...at first they behave like linear polarization when alone looking reflections but thing go intersting when interacting with 2 or tree diffenernt ways
ОтветитьMy dumbass trying to watch 3D movie with polarised 3D glasses at home and wondering why it's not working
ОтветитьThis helped me soo much thank you keep doing what your doing
Ответитьthis shows how a photon can have angular momentum, but doesn't seem to explain spin, which should be angular momentum that all photons have the exact same amount of?
ОтветитьI wish I had forgotten to give them back. Poor me, I was too good to bring them with me, and now I want one badly.
Ответитьবালডাও বুঝি নাই
ОтветитьCan i see 3D movie on my computer if i have 3D movie ( same as like theaters ) and passive 3D Glasses ?
Ответить2 times i forgot 😂.
ОтветитьThanks to engineers and researchers who did hard work to bring this cool tech
ОтветитьI forgot to give back 3d glasses at theater today. now I brought it home, and search on yt what to do with them.
ОтветитьCan we use 3d glasses as a sunglasses ? And why we should not use like that
Ответитьthe last line got me
ОтветитьTLDR means "to long didnt read"
ОтветитьYes I'm 🤣
ОтветитьI usually don't watch 3D movies because they give me a headache so I don't really forget to give back the 3D glasses.

ОтветитьGreat work, exactly the video I was looking for. I found the answer to my question in few minutes, thank you!

ОтветитьI had no idea waves could be circular, and I’m not sure I can believe it until I ask my spiritual guru the great maharishi Photon-Singh
ОтветитьI “forgot” 😂
ОтветитьI so wanted to keep my glasses after Avatar 2
Damn u dad 😂😂😂
And how do vr headsets work
ОтветитьThank you for your explanation. I was curious how it works 👍
ОтветитьGreat video, got a new sub
ОтветитьRegards from Iraq Karbala
ОтветитьIMAX 3D actually uses linear polarization, while standard 3D cinemas use circular polarization.
ОтветитьI did not forget the glasses I paid for the show and the show was below par and very short so I guess they did really need them to disappoint the next group 🙂
Ответитьthese glasses are really cool! I took a pair out of the movie theater, and I put them on, And I saw everything in 3-D
ОтветитьI didn't forget because they charge you for them and you get to take them home. 2023 Thanks for the information.
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьOh...that's why "normal" polarized sun glasses don't make movies (and video games) look 3D
ОтветитьIf that it's all the needed way we need very specific monitors in the order to support 3D ?
And we don't able to watch 3D movies with regular monitor and 3D glasses ?
I paid extra for the 3D glasses so why should I give them back unless they pay me back for them I am keeping them.
ОтветитьA red-cyan 3d glasses work the same way you explained, right?
Ответитьhow would i get two pictures with opposite polarization? I want to see 3d images for myself, but I don't know how to get two images with an opposite polarization.
ОтветитьThis is a realy great and helpful video, thank you much, although I have one question. I watched one of those movies tonight, they used a double projection, but I am curious (decent shot it was mentioned and I missed it), how do the different projections change what way the light is "spinning"? Like what is the difference between the two projections?
On the same topic, I assume you couldn't just have a video with two projections of the video on one screen and make it work right? because the monitor wouldn't be able to differentiate the "direction the light is spinning"? Or is there a way you could do that? I'm mostly thinking of if you could go to the extent of including that in a game, that'd be awesome.
Also
Yes I took home my glasses, wasn't sure if I was supposed to turn them in but I knew it would be cool at home anyways lol, at the very least I can make myself a privacy filter from the two lenses placed perpendicular (albeit too small for anything!)
2024 ANYONE HERE? This video helped me a lot
