Carnival in Japan! Unforgettable Yosakoi Festival Experience Dancing with Canavalava!!!

Join me on an exhilarating journey as I vlog my unforgettable experience for Carnival in Japan for the Yosakoi Festival in Kochi! 🎉 Dancing with the vibrant Canavalava band, I immersed myself in this amazing adventure and was absolutely touched to see how much they embrace our Trinidad and Tobago culture, including the national steel pan instrument in their festivities, as well as traditional Carnival characters such as the Dame Lorraine and Blue Devil. The entire band performs set choreography at the various judging points and kids play alongside the adults! Congrats to Fatimata and Barbie Japan for the great work they did choreographing the presentation. I was also asked to send a tutorial video showing soca dance movement prior to travelling to Japan, and delivered a short soca dance demonstration for the participants once I arrived to Kochi.
