The only ones here I knew were the Falco and Olimar ones tbh. I’ve got nearly 4000 hours into playing this game and probably just as many digesting content lol it’s crazy how much to learn there is.

Jigglypuffs up angled pound makes you go higher up which means you can use it to recover

Jigglypuff tilting was more or less a common knowledge for Melee players, because it was a reliable way to recover or stall.

In Captain Falcon final smash he actually make a pose in the air.....
But in Brawl and Smash 4.
In Ultimate they deleted the animation, along with the animation when he misses the final Smash.
Personally, I'm very sad with that :(

Maye the Falco tip is referring to the speed the laser travels as well as when it comes out

Puff should almost always drift up after pound. I thought this was common knowledge

actually, dk's up b can be affected by one outside force: pacman hydrant.

With olimar, they are talking about the pikmin's run speed, not flight speed.

Imagin if there where marth bots in smash that just spun around and then would just auto maticle head shot you

Byleth fsmash does more damage too if you angle it up

its pretty cool that characters have a head hitbox, i was thinking of a move for golisopod based on throat chop where if it hits the head, the target crumples, good to know thats a realistic possibility

As a Jigglypuff main, I do use the up-tilted pound a lot more in combos, and the down-tilted one as an approach option. It is subtle, but it makes a difference.

the arrow over the lead pikmin is like, the most obvious thing in the world i have no idea how it could be subtle lol

But palutena's dair is pretty clear is a downward kick, like, she moves her leg from side to side and her staff doesn't move at all.
With Fox you have to see it really close or slow to notice the tail slap

I know this is an old video, and people have probably already mentioned this, but in the Pikmin games the flower mechanic is also present. It's also rather important - it increases their speed and strength significantly. The speed difference is rather obvious when you get a group of leaved pikmin and a group of flowered pikmin to follow you. The flowered pikmin will follow much closer to your player character, basically matching your speed or even surpassing it, while the leaved pikmin will lag behind significantly, as they are a bit slower than you. The strength buff is very useful against bosses, and it's well worth getting flowered pikmin, or at least budded ones, before any major boss fights.

Because crouching takes headshot damage, they managed to make crouch cancelling even more useless

Just want to mention Kirby doesn’t need a whole head hurtbox, he needs every help he can get
