this looks more interesting than the previous 2 - but it still confuses me why I am interested in looking at men who eat more food than anyone should when there are people starving in the world, just to make themselves obese, prone to diabetes and help them overcompensation their fear of feeling small and build muscle - it's such an odd sport - eat, sleep, lift - the only sport based on looks? And people want their autographs? And they ruin their joints and their insides with drugs? It's a funny old world. Yet I am hooked :)

It's cheesy drama for sure. The difficulty is that the filmmakers need some kind of conflict for it to be a "proper" documentary film. A movie without conflict is dead and now everyone goes right to cheesy drama. Pumping iron had the Lou vs. Arnold bit, but it was light hearted primarily due to Arnold's incredible sense of humor. These guys nowadays don't have one! They're so serious like bodybuilding is life or death and there's nothing else in life. Very one dimensional. Name me one bodybuilder that is funny, witty, that you crack up like you did with Arnold and that is still a true athlete?

I see you have Sheru Classic all glorified. Sheru owes lots and lots of money including families with special need keds. Basically future money for people that really need it. Jim Manion and IFBB are very much aware of his action. I've told him personally. Sheru will tell you it was a bad investment, but the truth is he gave it away at his first show in prizes and accommodations (needed friends). Now the league is supporting him instead of helping victims recover stolen and misinterpreted funds. Sheru is a professional lier and a conman. His debt is in hundreds of thousands at least to me. I have all papers to backup my claims and he won't deny, but then again who knows. Never know what to expect from bullshitter.

Besides not having that amazing voice over narration from Micky Rourke, the sequel was probably trash because they changed the cinematographers and the editor. The look and storytelling was way off. Gotta stay with the team that made that first one so brilliant. True detective 1 Vs 2 syndrome.
