Shoot I went into Pittsburgh this past Thursday and guess who’s train was just hanging out on super old bridge above The Parkway going inbound??? A flippin Norfolk Southern…but guess what? They haven’t taken the time change wordage on that old train bridge going over The Parkway 😂

Thank you for this update. However, it’s pronounced East Palesteeene with a long e! I grew up 15 minutes from there. Bless their hearts they are too polite to correct you. I don’t mean any disrespect, but I just want you to know how the locals pronounce it. I live in Oregon now. My family lives in EP or 10 minutes from there. My mom had weird abscesses on her body that still come and go and now my Aunt has thyroid cancer. They both live in Columbiana. Is it connected? I think so.

I don’t live far from East Palestine and they’re forgotten because it’s a downtrodden area. Obviously if this were some affluent area, it would be the fastest response ever. Let’s hope JD can get things done for these people.

This is very sad! It doesn't matter who the political party is in office. I worked with a company involved in the clean-up. Everyone involved with the daily clean-up. We had to wear air monitor tested daily weekly. The chemicals tested had nothing to do with the derailment. No one involved hands-on with the soil water clean-up. we washed our clothes, drank and ate, and breathed the air for over a year. Not one of the over 80 workers has been tested or has gotten sick with any disease or side effects! The accident is sad to have happened yet! Really, there is only one victim. It's not the residents

All i have to say is absolutely do not rely on the government to do their part they have proven that they refuse to put in the effort.

I live about 40 minutes and was involved with hauling the contaminated water out of there that stuff when they burned it off stuck in the atmosphere even to this day if it rains or snows it'll agitate your throat it's insane the lengths that the railroad and government officials have gone to cover all this up

From my experience, it’s a very bad thing to have the railroad try to push the incident response to do anything. That is up to the incident command to do. An ERG book would dictate what to do with any chemicals, chemicals in fire, etc. That should have been consulted. EPA isn’t going to provide any advice because then they would be culpable.

This did not only effect them. 101miles out from ground 0 Seriously I have so much historical evidence showing a damaged state with other states due to ie chems. so open to the idea of deeper journey. And for educational purposes only!
