This is the 1st vid I've seen of yours so don't know how you normally do things. You mention that this is not a normal vid; But Thanks...very informative especially providing what the parameters actually mean and do (e.g. Nominal Slip Time) and how a change affects performance. One thing that would be helpful at least for me being data driven, is if you also showed on a data log how the data is affected by a change (e.g. does the PID for TCC slip show changes w/ changes in torque mgt tables). Thanks again for the education. So just looked at your channel and now understand that this vid was different...Do more car stuff!!! Thanks. ;-)
Ответитьjust a couple questions. i tune my ram R/T myself and have a lot to learn. i understand a harder shift can be worse on hard parts but better on clutch packs. iv got some torque management cut off but not all of it. so the only thing i need to touch is the normal shift tables? i always thought it would go back and forth between modes on its own depending on how im driving. im having trouble getting my part throttle acceleration and low speed cruising dialed in. sometimes accelerating really easy it will give you whiplash on the 1-2. but if i take off with any aggression, but not WOT, it will take a little longer to make the 1-2 and not hit hard at all. truck makes about 425whp and will light the rear tires up on the 1-2 shift if im not carful with the throttle. my WOT shifting is perfect im just struggling to learn to tune drivability into it.
