If there is a vegan dish, that doesn't contain things i don't like i will at least try if(worked of films sets for quite some time and had a good relationship with the catering companies and would ask what the vegan item is, 9 out of 10 times if i asked to try it they would give me a little.)
Most were good meals. I will always try something at least once.
You don't know people hate vegans?
ОтветитьI try to eat more vegan food, but i 100% agree that "vegan" label always feels annoying and i will prefer anything that is marked as vegetarian, not because i want it more but because it associated with better food in general in my mind
ОтветитьLet's be realistic. Vegans are self righteous dickheads. I don't want to be associated with such people
ОтветитьBecause vegan food is nasty 🤢
ОтветитьFor some one that eats everything
Why limit your self
its the same mf who thought third pounder were smaller than a quarter pounder cause the number was smaller, sigh
ОтветитьIs it just me or do both of those options suck dick?
ОтветитьPeople are scared of being healthy lol 😂
ОтветитьDamn it's almost like most of the population isn't vegan that's crazzzzy 😐
Ответитьcause people intuitively think vegan stuff taste like carboard and bike wheels
ОтветитьAbsolute proof that people like vegan teacher only make shit worse lol
ОтветитьIts because we immediately think of insufferable vegans trying to shame us for eating what we want. The lable makes me cringe too
ОтветитьI don't blame them. Only vegans can stand other vegans
Ответитьwow, peple dont read the ingredients and like meat. waht a study
ОтветитьNobody wants to be associated with vegan twats
ОтветитьYeah bc vegan foods are typically trash
ОтветитьIt is due to all the bad associated with veganism
Ответитьif i had to guess as to why this was the case then i assume it has to do with the extra loud vegans ranting about how "meat is the worst thing ever" and "veganism will remove all of your ailments" and because we only hear from the loud ones, and the loud ones are very annoying about it, we associate veganism as a whole with those specific vegans, which causes us to dislike vegan food
Ответить"Vegan" means heavily processed, nothing natural about it.
ОтветитьWhen I see the word vegan, I immediately assume everything is just chemicals and trash...because it usually is.
ОтветитьPeople are idiots
ОтветитьVegans are pretty much universally disliked because a) they’re often insufferable as people and b) they make someone of the grossest and least appealing food and SWEAR it’s just as good as the real stuff.
ОтветитьKinda similar to how people feel judged or annoyed when someone says "No thanks, I'm vegan/don't eat meat"
ОтветитьIf it says vegan I'm automatically going to assume its filled with soy, phytoestrogens and chemicals.
Ответитьi dont want plant based chicken, i want chicken chicken, i prefer my meat to be meat, lots of the vegan food ive seen has weird shit in it that i dont want to eat like celery, if you like celery you need to be put on a high risk watch list because you are a threat to everyone and yourself
ОтветитьI usually don't look at vegan options, if it says vegan I assume it's supposed to be non vegan but has been made vegan to please vegans which often means it will taste worse.
ОтветитьThe results were not the "exact same". They were comparable or precise, but not exact.
(I know, stupid pet peeve, but we really do need to be more precise with our use of words.)
Thats becausem most people who are vegan are insufferable
ОтветитьBecause the loud vegans are just so fucking annoying about it.
ОтветитьPeople hate vegans
ОтветитьYES! SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN THAT VEGANS HAVE ANNOYED THE WORLD OUT OF VEGANISM! THEY HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO SHUT UP NOW!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThis just shows ya how many people are stupid
ОтветитьJust one too many exposures to a tofu hotdog as a “real” hotdog and you’ll understand.
ОтветитьPeople get sick of politics. Vegan is a political term.
ОтветитьI would avoid taking the vegan option, to leave more for the ones that need it. I don't need my meal to be vegan so I can afford to take something I might like a bit less so as to leave shares for others. Generally for events they have limited supply and I don't want to be a bother for the vegans and/or anybody that might need a specific diet. I wouldn't worry about that if it wasn't labelled though because then it's just an option and they probably have equal amounts of everything.
Ответитьi mean when i see allergen safe food labels as an option, like gluten free or nut free etc. i don’t pic those options to make sure they’re available to those that require it. I feel like this study may not take that sort of interpretation of menu availability into account
Ответитьif its vegan it has less protein so i try to pick the more protein food
ОтветитьYeah, no shit.
ОтветитьIt comes down to two possible factors: people associate vegan food with it being filled with substitute products or/and people view veganism as "woke" and don't want to have anything with vegan food, no matter if it's just a label.
ОтветитьI just don't like hummus so second option both times
ОтветитьI refuse to eat vegan alternatives. I know how my real meat is prepared, i have no clue how plant based sht is made and im happy enough eating real meat to learn.
ОтветитьI mean it’s not that they didn’t know the first option was vegan in the second question, they weren’t presented with it being labelled as vegan
ОтветитьI worked with a cool guy he was married to a young woman who was vegan. At a company party, she kind of started pushing vegan ideology on me while eating Baklava I explained honey is a product of a Bee, not vegan.
Ответитьbc it sounds bad and soy
ОтветитьVeganism is extremely 🏳️🌈
ОтветитьCuz overall vegan food sucks!!!
ОтветитьThe annoying "Vegans" gave the word vegan a bad name..
ОтветитьNgl I'd say "no thank you" to vegan options because so many vegan dishes have tree nuts - which want me personally dead. Just easier to avoid it entirely
ОтветитьIf I'm eating a meal that makes sense to be vegan, then I don't mind being told it's vegan. If I'm served food that looks like something that shouldn't be vegan, I'm going to be suspicious at the very least.
