Lithuania Pushes Polish Energy Ties: Interconnection projects to be completed in 2015

Lithuania is set to be pushing ahead with an electricity project which will connect it with Sweden and Poland. Construction on the LitPol Link and NordBalt projects are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. The Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid has issued a statement saying that more than half of each of the energy interconnections have been completed so far.
