Long before How to Train Your Dragon, there was Dragonworld.

I watched this movie on Tubi a few years ago. This had so much potential to be a great experience, just ashame they didn't had the dragon in the movie often enough and expand on some ideas they presented. This is one of the rare cases I'd say a movie should get a remake and would like to see the stop motion aspect get brought back.

There's not a whole lot of movies with people riding dragons out there, most are monsters that needs to be dealt with. Closet to friendly dragons being ridden are Eragon, and that dragon training franchise. What we need is something with dragons that looks they're from either Dragonslayer (1981) by Disney or Reign of Fire, the plot of either game Drakan Order of the Flame or that dragon training movie series, more of the former than the latter.

I literally had no idea this move existed until now (and as old as I am, too).
