Wow, the amount of times I skipped past this song because of the way he threw that lit ciggy onto the ground bothered me so damn much. It still does but at least now I can appreciate the dichotomy of the song being sung with the dart that was flung. All I can change is myself and my views, and that's enough, it always has been.
Caring about whether posting this or not matters, matters not. No matter, it matters to me, even without the odd reasons within.

Hey me of the future, looking back and reflecting, I love you enough to know what I don't yet know and accept the things that I may never come to see. Even still, this is the growth that we've wanted from me, as odd as it's movements can be, it'll still trickle out with the loving warmth from a fresh puddle of pee.

I wish I had spent more time finding music like this when I was younger but thank god I found it nowadays ❤

Having listened to this close to 100 times on Apple Music since discovering it a couple years ago, this is my first time watching the accompanying video, and it’s pretty surreal considering before I just had the audio and to see it as the moment it was is just…cool

I’m not a “music snob” but like……. I kind of am and I am like so confused how this is one (maybe the most) beautiful song I’ve ever heard and it’s so simple. Tried to dig into em but this song is completely different from anything they’ve ever done. Shame on anybody just walking by at this live moment. Truly beautiful.

Sitting in the NICU with my premature son, this song brings a certain type of comfort and helps me feel grounded again. I keep finding myself humming the melody. this performance has saved me more times than i can remember.

En algún momento me pregunté por qué la gente escucha lo que escucha, y en mi arrogancia intenté convencer a todos de que existe música mejor que otra. Al final ninguna forma de música es correcta (si se dejan de lado los valores que comparten o su calidad técnica). En el fondo, siempre me ha molestado que las personas hoy en día disfruten casi exclusivamente tan solo música trapera y urbana. No me molesta el trap, sino la falta de con quién compartir canciones que al final, en momentos de soledad y tristeza, fueron todo lo que tenía y que a veces son todavía lo único que tengo.
Muy en el fondo sé que al anochecer, mientras persigo mis sueños desvelándome y trabajando, en silencio, todo lo que desearía tener aparece detrás de una canción como esta, y me inunda una nostalgia que aunque duele un poco, me recuerda hacia donde debería seguir caminando. Ahora no espero nada de los demás, ni que escuchen esta o cualquier otra canción, o que sean amables y cariñosos entre sí. Aprendí a la fuerza y muy en contra de mí mismo, que solo soy yo y esta canción, por el resto de mi vida, y eso está bien para mí, mientras pueda seguir andando. Mi sueño no es conquistar nada más que mis propias alas. Un día pasaré volando por encima de todos, y no espero que nadie lo note.
