Can you smoke it without the insert?

I always learn something new when I watch your videos. I'm gonna buy one of these for my collection. I currently own two Savinellis, one of them being the Christmas 2023 673 KS, which is my favorite pipe. I want to try something new, so I will do this one, too. Thank you sir! 😊

Got me my first 2023 Brigham pipe of the year was expensive but don’t regret it great smoke for my Hot aromatics with the Thick walls ..another great video from grandpa piper

I’m a huge fan of these pipes. I have 3 and all I smoke from.

I’m Canadian and have acquired 3 over the years. One from antique, I think 60s and two from my father in law, I think 1930s-50s. One had a metal filter insert in the stem, but I believe I threw it out, too bad was probably an old filter type. Now they’re made in Italy, not Canada, by Savinelli I think, cheers.

I was given a Brigham Voyager by my brother several years ago for Christmas. Very good pipe and one of my favorites.

I've been smoking with a Brigham 026s for the past year, and I had no idea that filter was in there. I'm a cigar smoker that's new to pipes glad I seen this video I'll be picking up some new filters!

Brigham is one of my favs besides Peterson. Active I just bought one today...very beautiful pipe

Hah what a coincidence... I JUST bought a pool cue for myself, and many pool cues say they use "hard rock maple." (I had never heard of "rock maple" before, so it's crazy that those pipes have it.) Maybe try using that distillator as a pool cue, you'll be surprised!

I’ve got two of the Brigham Voyaguer series. Rustic look. They look amazing and a great smoker. I have the 129 bent apple and the 126.

I like mine a lot. i tried the filter that came witb it but ive just been using it with no filter. I generally dont like filters but the brigham filtsr does seem high quality.

I have a Voyageur 126 - love it!

Just bought my first Brigham (Voyageur 129) yesterday, based on this review. Lovely pipe. I like the filtering system, however after my first smoke, the Rock Maple Distillator appears to be stuck in the pipe stem. I can't remove it. Have you experienced this issue, and if so, do you have a solution? Many thanks in advance.

Picked up a Brigham Voyageur 109 and was totally blown away by this pipe. Flavour really comes thru on these. Beats out nearly all the other pipes in my collection. I wonder if you can put the filters into a Ultrasconic cleaner with distilled water to clean.

I own 3 of their pipes and enjoy the smoking experience that they provide.

Brigham is the local brand here in Toronto. They used to make them here before moving production to Italy (and their nicer ones in France). I have a Voyageur and an Acadian and both are a joy to use. Early Morning Pipe just comes through better in this than any of my others.

Since you wish everybody happy piping at the end of a segment I think you might be the Bob Ross /" Happy painting"..of pipe smoking Maybe you could try a wig and do a Bob Ross tribute special on one of your segments!

My go to pipe is a Brigham 129 . It is a great pipe for me .

This is a better overview and explanation of Brigham pipes and the Distillator than even Brigham themselves have! I don’t own any yet, but they’re abundant at estate sales here in Canada, and I’ve found a gent not too far from me who repairs and restores them for reasonable prices.

Very compelling. I am looking at the Voyager 184 but I just got a pipe or 3 coming in the mail. I like the idea of a wooden filter / tube and love how it absorbs and cools

Just tie a colored piece of thread around the pipe to distinguish it from others.

I bought one not knowing or understanding anything about the system they used. Loaded up with a standard (for me) Cornell & Diehl Pirate Kake. It was like a completely different experience. I just ordered another pipe along with inserts. Love it!

Just recently got a Brigham and really enjoying it. Hard to beat for the $50-60 range. Mine came in a nice long tin that is perfect for storing pipe cleaners.

I have two Brighams that I’ve bought because of your video, they have quickly become my favorite pipes. I’m a wet smoker and I’ve never had a single gurgle with these. Thank you MuttnChop!
