1997 was a good year for AAA AJPW E-CMLL ECW FMW NJPW WCW WWF AJW (was going bankrupt but didn’t close until 2005) JWP LLPW GAEA JDSTAR NEO ARSION and OZ
ОтветитьNew year ! 1997 is here ❤
ОтветитьClassic wrestling video watch this!!👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьWhat a fucking time to be alive. RAW and Nitro.
ОтветитьGood times! Except for middle school.
ОтветитьWWE: "Alright guys let's have Chris Benoit name dropped, but just don't show any footage of him. That way no one can accuse us of revisionist history by ignoring his existence, he was there but you couldn't see him!"
Ответитьi love how the intro set still had hulk in red and yellow and sting with blonde hair lol
ОтветитьThese wcw episodes are better then the current wwe product
ОтветитьRest in Paradise Kevin Sullivan
ОтветитьLex Luger en su prime
ОтветитьSting was so compelling. Even after all the great stuff that happened on the show, he walks in, whispers sweet words of inspiration and disappears and it's the best thing in wrestling ever. I love it so much.
ОтветитьFlying to Minneapolis next week and while there going to make a point of going to Mall of America to visit the site of the first Nitro.
ОтветитьJesus, Glacier must be the only wrestler who could screw up a match with Bobby Eaton. WCW should be ashamed of themselves for that abomination.
ОтветитьGood Lord Glacier spends more time entering and exiting than he does wrestling and hes not killing guys like Goldberg so he looks like a damn fool.
ОтветитьSkipping other nitro’s again😂😂
ОтветитьHahahaha Konnan in the Dungeon of Doom HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHSHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHSHSHSHS
ОтветитьTaskmaster's bunny hop finisher is the worst finisher in 1997.
ОтветитьWCW in 1997 is equivalent to WWF in 1998!
Love WCW 4-Life 🤘😎
This episode skipping is so pathetic. Like, why even bother doing them weekly if you are going to skip months at a time. He’s all over this show till 2000. It’s a dick thing to old WCW fans who are starved for this kind of content. Just edit him out FFS
ОтветитьI was 13 when this aired, never missed a Monday, I was a WCW kid through and through.
ОтветитьThat was a cool ending to Nitro. Really good storytelling with Sting giving Giant the bat to defend himself. In 97, the NWO angle was awesome.
Ответитьthe intro alone is worth an entire show of current wwe
ОтветитьLoved the ending. I wish I and many others too had a time machine
ОтветитьHow in Gods name is Arn Anderson only 39 here...looks like hes in his mid 50s
ОтветитьStill Love WCW
ОтветитьThe hardest job in wrestling was writing dialogues for Ric Flair because you had to avoid word combinations that would've made him choke on his own saliva.
ОтветитьReally wish they would stop skipping around the episodes. We were back in Sept 96 for the last episode, now we're in 1997.
ОтветитьLarry with the Troy reference.
ОтветитьSept 9 2000 plz
ОтветитьSo good to see matches that are called in the ring by guys that knew their craft. Take this any day over the choreographed floppy matches of today.
Don’t get me wrong, the WCW cruiserweights were great too. Some of the best stuff on tv at the time. But even those matches had a more legit feel to them because they weren’t so over choreographed. Pre planned matches are the worst thing to happen to wrestling.
Bobby Eaton 1958-2021 rest in peace 💔☹️😭
ОтветитьClassic stuff
ОтветитьI'm going to 100% honest with you , I really Miss WCW too. What l wish that they could do Is that they should upload or stream live full Episodes of WCW Monday Nitro 1996 from The month in May Of 1996 Through The Month in December Of 1996. Which that Would be good for us professional wrestling Fans to be able to watch in the near future. We're appreciate that
ОтветитьIt only took 24 years for the WWE to do something with WCW
ОтветитьI do too wcw was the greatest
ОтветитьMonday Yay ! Tune in to TNT (well YT WCW After all 😁) because NITRO is on again, have a great fun time watching everybody! 👍
ОтветитьEddie Guerrero here in WCW, more than 8 years later he passes away tragic at age 38. RIP
ОтветитьBeautiful Bobby Eaton one of the greats opening the show, jobbing for a schmuck
ОтветитьThis was a wild incarnation of the Horsemen from 95-97 with Pilman or with Mongo, they always seemed to be bickering, Flair and Arn never seem to be on the same page, Pilman was having a pretty crazy storyline with Kevin Sullivan, and when he left, Benoit just stepped right in into an even crazier storyline, Arn seems to always sympathize with Kevin Sullivan whether he's going against Pilman or Benoit, Arn's mad at Benoit for the adultery but he's been friends with Ric for years, once Mongo joins they eventually book HIS real life wife Debra to side with another wanna be Horseman in Jeff Jarrett, they were really playing with their lives Sullivan, Flair and Arn
ОтветитьI miss nitro to now you have a time sir to enjoy. Thank you ❤.
ОтветитьYes it was sir even when is gone? I can still watched. Thank you ❤.
ОтветитьMan, what a pop for Duggan
ОтветитьThe ending to the Rey Mysterio Psychosis match was an absolute thing of beauty............
ОтветитьJanuary 6 meant it was the first Monday back from Christmas break. Everyone is wearing fresh new winter clothes. Awkward interactions with the girl you hung out with over break. Good times.
ОтветитьPoor Bobby Eaton had no idea what to do against Glacier. At the end, it's like he goes, "Ok. That's a wrap!" 😂
