I missed this play I turned the radio off when Howe got caught and I tell ya ffs

Me and my partner (both Pies) were at this game, when Howe slipped over my partner cracked it and walked off thinking we’d for sure just lost. He returned right as Jamie marked it. He asked me what happened and I could barely speak.. it all happened so fast!! Siren, goal… and the most unforgettable roar from the crowd. Absolutely insane match to be at. I’ll never forget it ❤❤❤

Jones technically didn't tackle Howe for holding the ball. Howe slipped and lost posession so there never should have been a free kick in the first place.

The smart play was for Jones to maintain team possession. Couple of lateral kicks to run the clock down. But then we would have missed Elliot's ice cold kick.

I bet that whoever sets up the winning clubs theme song was having kittens when that mark was taken.

As a Dee's supporter as you can imagine the Pies are not my favourite, but let's be honest that was one of the best after the siren kicks ever. I always wondered why they kept holding on to Elliott over the years with his injuries, this year answered it. Absolute gun.

I think that was sweet karma there. Wasn't really holding the ball. More like he slipped and bounced the ball. He lost possession but should have been play on. Anyway worked out well in the end. So what was the explanation the umpire gave? That the commentator said that's the explanation

As a Lifelong & Passionate Collingwood supporter, this was definitely the Greatest Finish to a Game in Living Memory.

Why was Howe penalised for holding the ball when he was given any prior opportunity? He didn't even have the ball when tackled. He dropped the ball earlier without any tackle.
