So let me get this straight. Multiple B-2 stealth bombers took off from the U.S. with their transponders enabled and transmitting their actual identity (military transponders are capable of address rotation to hide their identity while still benefiting from transpnder service), and then immediately proceded to targets in Iran, a hostile act likely to endanger U.S. Airmen and multiple multimilion dollar aircraft had Iran or one of its alies intercepted the bombers. Remember, stealth just means no radar. If you scream "Im on my way" you've eliminated half of your advantage.

The shortest route from Whiteman AB to Tehran is about 6800 miles, flying over the Atlantic and then the Mediterranean. If you fly from Whiteman AB to Guam the distance is 7200 miles. And from Guam to Tehran, an additional 5800 miles -- a total of 13000 miles, or about 20000km. And this assumes flying over Chinese territory. The actual route must be more circuitous to avoid flying thru airspace of adversarial states. B2 bombers fly at 1000km/h, so it should take at least 20 hrs from whiteman AB to reach targets in Iran. Does all this make sense in terms of timing? When did the bombers take off ?
