Love them is there a reason for shooting the broadhead i shoot 40 pounds missed a ram hit the sand and the broadhead is un retainable doesent close any reason for that love everything u do keep it up hope to go hunt with you

The D loop is some thing I never played with. It was set up in the shop and I just left it the way it was. It never occurred to me that this could be one of the reasons I do not shoot well.

My bow came with 85% let off, I was holding around 8#. I decreased the let off, and started holding 14# and found I could aim better. I then picked up an old school compound that held at 23# and found my aim was better yet. In order to hold a higher weight with my #1 bow, I just purchased another set of limbs that were 10# heavier, with luck, I will be holding 17 or 18#.

You know I get Josh isn't the most universally likeable guy. But tbh - very cool video. Hard not to agree with the method. Winning me over bud.

so just wrapped up my 1st asa here in fort benning. shot pretty well but i was having alot of issues with pin float. this is my first year shooting and ive recently added a lens into my scope which made pin float worse. i am going to try and start here with these tips but is there any stabilizer tips? obviously the v bar seems good if one can handle the weight but i just need to figure this pin float stuff out.

Do you shoot trad as well? How do you know if you have too short or too long of a draw length with trad bows? Any tips on shooting trad more accurately?

Ya my right arm shorter due to snapping it in half on active duty. Ive been great with my 60 pound compound and 45 on the recurve. What is a good target that will release your arrow

The high let off thing is stupid. Unfortunately most don’t even know what the let of their bows is.

I’m going to need to try this. I keep bouncing back and forth forth between 28.5” and 29” DL on my LIFT and cannot get comfortable with either DL. Maybe I need to take everything down and work with the d-loop. You’re always dropping knowledge bombs on here! Thank you!

The problem with this method is archery shops don’t do this they don’t have the time or don’t want to or charge you a arm and leg for their time

Well Josh, great video and tech tips. I run 85 % let off due to my disability now that I am a senior citizen. Am I a lover? Hmm man that's mean Need my safe place and THC lollipop. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 but it's true I am disabled now and run 85%. But I am not offended. Let off in the early days was 50% alot of times. Great video.
